Also 35s on a 2dr look so right, on a 4dr you need to pony up for 37s to achieve similar badassery :)

...what makes your 2-Door fun to drive?
As much as I like the utility and overall ownership experience of my JLU, I still miss the coziness of my YJ. Two door Jeeps seem to blend compactness and competence in a manner unmatched by any other vehicle I've seen or have driven.

Crazy go kart made of tractor parts is about the best way I've heard it explained.

Super short wheelbase, good torque with the higher gearing (I also have 4.88s), tight turning radius and overall agile feel while also being 2-4x the height of a Miata. Fun combo.
4.88's on a 2dr are a HOOT. Even with stock rubi 33's.

Due to life's circumstances, I had to take my child with me on errands the last few weeks. I always chose to drive the 2-Door, even with a baby seat in the back.
I have my son in a car seat in my 2 door all the time. No regrets whatsoever —-because it’s so fun. And leaning in to buckle him in is easy.

That said, I will tell you it’s even better when they’re able to climb in themselves. He climbs in, I get in, and I buckle his seat from sitting in the drivers seat. It’s a major improvement vs. standing in the rain!

I drive lots of different cars each day. So, I think my 2 door drives like a jacked up Mini Cooper.

One thing a 2dr Jeep is superior at is if you need to shoehorn that bad boy into a parking spot on a city street. Even if you get it a bit wrong and touch the curb, it's not like you are going to scrape the wheel. Plus, if someone tries to shoehorn their Camry in behind you, he ain't gonna want to bump into that Jeep because it'll do way more damage to his car over that Jeep.

I also know that a 4 door drives like most SUV's. I can understand why they are so popular. I don't like the pickup Jeep. Luckily I was able to drive a few customer ones before I bought my 2door.

Just be careful out there my fellow Dolly Partons.

Saw a pic of your Jeep back upright, looks like there's some battle wounds but hopefully nothing more than some honor badges to deal with :)

2 door on 37s is fun with the 2.0 ETorque. I’m on factory gears but it’s still a blast to drive.

Tighter turn radius, more HP per Lb, steering feels quicker than the 4 door (not sure if it actually is, but sure feels like it).
The 2 door and 4 door have different steering box part numbers and programming, so I'd imagine the differences we feel in steering are tangible beyond just the wheelbase difference.
