It’s an Aisin, which sounds kinda like Allison. I don’t believe Allison makes a true light truck transmission anymore, they just license the name to GM for use in 3/4-1 ton trucks.
yep you’re right I meant to type Aisin. Gues I was thinking about the Chevy hd trans.

I find it odd when people feel the need to make these goodbye posts like they are doing something great. The JL as whole is a very reliable platform.

Can I have your stuff?
Agreed. This is a Jeep forum, not an airport. No need to announce departures. 😁

As the man in the relationship, you are going to be the sole person 100% responsible for all things boat related lol. Just goes with the job description lol.

My right index finger works well most of the time when it doesn't forget. When it does forget the wife's left finger fixes it. ;)
I used my middle finger until I got the Tazer :(

Good luck.
I had a boat. Ton of work. Ounce of fun.
Isn't that true! B.O.A.T. (bring over another thousand)... Just like (J)ust (E)mpty (E)very (P)ocket 🤣🤣

Just remember this old saying....
The two best days for a boat owner, are the day he buys it, and the day he sells it! 😆

I've had several, I know!

Seriously, Enjoy the Toyota, and happy boating!!

Well, Im out. Couldnt resist the offer I got for my JLR. Just too good to pass up.
Came home and removed all my aftermarket stuff. Swapped back on factory bumpers, rockers, exhaust, etc. And now shes history.
Couple thoughts on the JL. Its a extremely capable vehicle, no doubt about it. But the way Jeep has been going about their business lately really irks me.
The little stuff like the visor arm that always breaks or the rear defrost wire coming off, I can live with. Its annoying, but really no big deal.
The clutch issue is unacceptable. That issue needs to be resolved and Jeep seems to be just poo-poo-ing around it for like 3 years now.
Also, that ESS setup has bugged me from day one. Completely asinine.

Just wanted to say its been fun and this sub is by far the best part of this forum. Take care!
Like I have said for years, the best ever built was the TJ Rubicon, Bulletproof engine, simple ez and a breeze to fix with a hand full of tools. And then the lack of ELECTRONICS and that is a biggie

True^^ CJs too, although leaf springs and drum brakes on the older models make them less user friendly :) But simple to work on :)
