Too Much Exhaust Restriction?

Curious as to the thoughts about adding this in front of an axle back system to make it a little quieter. Too much restriction? No difference? Some sound reduction? No difference?

That’s a straight through muffler. Not restrictive at all. I will be doing this very same type or exhaust on mine.

It worked perfectly. It reduced the sound quite a bit which is what I was after. On the long road trips we take (TX to CO/WY/MT/UT/NM/AZ/NV), any of these axle back exhausts become too loud (for me). Adding this was a happy medium to the sound while allowing me to keep the looks of the MF system.
