I got a set of knockoffs like you have the link for but the resulting tire pressures were all over the map and I don't like the idea of screwing them on and just driving off.

I moved on to an ARB tire deflator that removes the valve core. It works great but you have to stay knelt down at each tire for a couple of minutes while the air comes out. I'm old and fat and it made my feet hurt.

I'm also super OCD about my tire pressure being exactly the same. So I made one of those 4 tire air up / air down gadgets and now use it exclusively. Yes it takes a little longer to set up, but the airing up and airing down is fast and makes up for the time taken to connect it or roll it back up and put it back in the bag.
Yeah, I bought the cheapo Amazon set of 4 deflators for about $20. Tried to set them and couldn't get them to repeat very well. Then I read Ted's experience with spending the whole day trying to get his set.

Gave up and ordered a cheap copy of the ARB stem remover/deflator/gauge. Haven't tried it out yet. If I like the concept, I'll get a good one eventually and gift this stuff to someone.

Even the ARB is made in china so the cheap copy may have come from the same factory.

When I was gearing up my JL I saw nothing but bad reviews on the screw on type that you just trust will get you to the desired PSI. So I got one of these and, although it may be slower, it works every time for 1/4 the price of the ones you mentioned: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078T18YMC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Staun deflators are garbage. Seriously. You'll get better results with a stick you pick up. Don't waster your money.

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the Power Tank Monster Valve system like this one:

seems like these stick out a ways where they might be more likely to get ripped off in the rocks.

i have to wonder if they'd even fit in the recessed valve stem holes of the Mopar factory Beadlock wheels and clear the bead lock rings; i've sent a question to the mfr to inquire.
Did you ever hear back or try this? Been debating pulling the trigger on the same setup next time i buy tires for the MOPAR beadlocks.

Deflating tires is never as much of a chore for me as some people make it out to be. I have cheap ones from amazon...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X8VY6QD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and the first time I used them, I just timed how long it takes for them to get down to the PSI I want (usually 12-15 w/o beadlocks). Then every time after that i use the stopwatch on my phone. I'm sure elevation differences can make this time change... when that happens, I deal with it and move on. Takes less than 2 minutes to deflate my tires at the trailhead.
I have the same one. But mine is branded Teraflex which makes me feel better than you.

I am joking. It is the same thing. I wish I wouldve bought those instead since teraflex cost me an extra beer.

Hey to each their own on different deflators. I'm a Staun guy and am happy with them so far... but for one to say they are garbage and not offer any reasoning looses credibility in my book.

A bunch of folks in our jeep club uses Staun's with good luck. After an exhaustive search, J.T. Brooks Automatic Tire Deflators had better reviews than Staun's. I have two sets and don't think the extra money for he Pro's is worth it. I've got all mine marked, and they're 100% repeatable. More air in the front as it's more likely to break a bead.

BTW, I've verified the pressures with a calibrated 0-30 gauge.

I am using the Boulder Tools deflators, cheaper knock off of Staun I think. Anyway I got em dialed in at home and so far on this trip in Moab they have worked like a charm. My wife kept an eye on the TPMS numbers and hollered when each tire hit 20, which is pretty much where I set em to.

overall I am very pleased and they work great for me

I agree with you about Staun. 2017 I bought them and they cost $63.00. I guess material cost have gone up.

Ive got a set of these that Im about to return. Ive set them for 18psi but they continue to slowly leak air past that. Do yours not do that? Seeing alot of reviews with the same complaints.

Im very happy with my TJ Brooks Pros. Took me a bit to get them set to 12 psi but now they are accurate and repeatable. I would buy them again.
