Do you presently own a Tazer JL or are thinking of purchasing?

Purchase a Tazer JL LIte as it does not use the OBDll port. And then.... hopefully your gps/cell tracker will live/coexist peacefully with the Tazer JL Lite and your JL.
I don't, still waiting on my rubicon build. I will check into the Lite version and ask zautomotive first.

I just got the Lite and installed it. Hardest part was removing the SGW harnesses! :swear:

Works as advertised. ESS/AP kill are only in the menus when the Engine is ON (as per the instructions), but otherwise very easy to use with the steering wheel controls! :like: good work Zauto!

This happened to me as well. The compass was also backwards. But within about 5 minutes of driving, it was all fixed.

Anyone know if it can unlock the SiriusXM Travelink Sports scores? As is, that menu doesn’t activate unless your’re stopped. Once you start goin it locks again.

Sounds great, but all I hear is warranty VOID. If it can be posted on this site it can be read by JEEP so I will pass and keep my warranty.

Jeep Care reads the post.

They don't have to prove anything YOU NICE GUYS JUST TOLD THEM BASICALLY TO CHECK EVERY JEEP. It takes less than 2-5 min to check and void a warranty.

There's nothing to check, its unmarried and settings are back to default. If you leave it on there when you take it in then yes they will become aware of it

Save your typing fingers, @smithrd65 likes to spew his void warranty crapola. I think it is an attention getting behavior...
We definitely take a risk, but my dealer actively recommends flashcal. They are also an AEV authorized dealer/installer too so maybe they are just more friendly to mods and those sorts of things, I dunno

Sure there is a risk. My point was, @smithrd65 posts pretty much nada on the forum but his void warranty spiel.... and that gets old after a few...

Reality is, if you do the dance properly and have a fairly mod friendly service department, chances are pretty much you will hear nothing from the service department regarding a programmer, especially, if it is not an engine tuning programmer...

Even if the dealership knows you have used a programmer (left in JL, etc.), that doesn't void the warranty anyway. They could try to blame a problem on it, but it doesn't necessarily mean a warranty claim will be turn down and it definitely doesn't "void" your warranty. Unless it is the root cause of a problem.
@fdisker2000

Thinking that the JL owner was real smart, on top of things that he/she ordered the Tazer JL, as he/she knew it was the best.... well, I'd also like to think, that he/she, also would be with it enough, smart enough, etc. not to leave the friggin programmer married to the JL or the programmer hardware attached to the JL when he/she took his JL to the dealership service department. To do this is just laziness and pure stupidity.

To leave the JL married and the hardware attached is just asking for trouble lets say.

Yes. It settles down after a few minutes.

@fdisker2000 I hear ya... No, I do not think you are lazy and stupid, like some........

Why unmarry, remove hardware...
Again, you don't leave a door open so to speak if you do not want the dog to come in. Keep the door shut is best.
