Has anyone heard from Joe at Tazer lately? I sent him a PM a week ago and haven't heard from him.
I texted the tech support number last week and got a pretty fast response.

I tried a flat head screw driver. It wasn't too sharp, but just couldn't get an angle to really press where needed. The pick has a 90 degree bend, so it hits the sweet spot. The entire pick is about 10 inches long, so it easily gets up there. The first time I did it, it reached it even with the lower dash panel still on.
:cwl: Do you have a link? Or maybe a pic? I was defeated.

Retired but working with benefits.
Worth a shot ... try pushing UP, then wiggle before pulling down. Mine were stuck as well but this trick worked on them. If you get to :headbang: definitely stop and take a breather.

Here it is. Be sure to blunt the pointy end a bit so that it doesn't go through the plastic.

Lowe's may have it but I found this at Harbor Freight Tools.

Still not budging... using it straight up and using the 90 degree angle to pull towards me and depress the tab. Not sure what else to do short of breaking the tab. I've had numerous attempts wiggling it round, pushing, pulling. This is with a pretty good grip. BOTH wires will not budge. I'm going to give it to the end of the day as I've wasted enough time on this already. Might have to look into a return and switching to Flashcal.

Ok. My plug is a really tight fit for some reason. No way it can be done by hand. After “unlocking” it with a tab you need to use a tool to pull it out.

I couldn’t even remove it from the tazer device without hooking it in as shown. There just isn’t enough grip. This part will be facing away from you so it will still be a challenge to hook it in.

I can sleep tonight now.. lol

I wonder why some are so hard to get out. Mine, I just reach and squeeze and they pop right out.

@aCeMedic13

Glad you got it.

By the way, with the Flashcal for Jl you also would have had to plug in a a similar SWG bypass module. So, good that you were able to get-er-done.

There is another forum thread here where the JLU owner reports he had a rattle and the rattle was coming from two very loose connectors. He took steps to tighten up the connectors and the rattle stopped. Read here & see pic: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/speaker-issue.6166/page-5#post-248714

Yup, the connectors were the two we deal with in regard to the SWG bypass module. Go figure............... ;)

Yep, got mine today. Looked at the pics and posts on here and thought how in the Hell do I get that unplugged. Tried laying on my back all contorted but finally went in blind and squeezed the tabs, rocked it left and right while pulling and they came right out.

Has anyone heard any updates about the timing of the Tazer front camera?
