This has been discussed but here ya go.....
Right, I knew it was "unkilled" after the cruise recall...was just curious if there was a fix out yet. Doesn't look like it...yet.

Button Remap: This function allows the assignment of “hotkeys” for quick access to some of the Tazer’s
functions. The cruise +/-/RES may be used for this function. While the dash is in Audio mode, press and
hold the RIGHT arrow and press the button you’d like to remap. The choices are: Any of the 8 light
shows, backup cameras, line lock, rock crawl, TC kill, Cooldown, Front/Rear/Front+Rear Lockers,
SwayKill. Keep in mind that not all functions pertain to all vehicles. These remap buttons will only
program and operate while Cruise Control is OFF. When Cruise is on, they will operate as normal cruise
control buttons. For TC Kill, a vehicle restart is required to bring the system back to normal. For
Lockers, the normal Locker off button disengages the lockers.

Thank you for this... If I had been more patient, I'd have done my homework first.
Truly apprecieated.

Are there written instructions for the taser anywhere. I can't find them. I have had my taser for a few weeks.

I was able(with help from a member here) to do what I wanted. Now there is an upgrade. No instructions anywhere on how to download or whatever the upgrade. All I want is to be able to select my lockers at any time. Any help would be appreciated. I was shocked when I opened the box of my new taser. A plastic box and a cable was in it. ZERO instructions.

There are the latest instructions on their website. Mine came with a small sheet with instructions and the web address. Go to zautomotive's site and you'll find everything you need.

The first link is how to physically install it. The second link is proving my point. Hundreds of pages of people asking questions because there are no instructions. I will wait for the final version, to engage lockers. Thanks

@word302

This thread makes little sense to me.

The info is readily available here on the forum and at ZAutomotive's website. A guy/gal just has to want to read... to learn, to make an effort lets say.

This thread makes perfect sense to me. The info is readily available spread out all over everywhere. A guy/gal just wants to read the relevant information in one spot.... to learn.

@DOOKEY

I guess we all have our take on things.

I found all the necessary, basic info on ZAutomotive's website. The info is indeed, readily available there.

Personally, the info posted / "spread out all over", here on the forum, by fellow Tazer JL user's, is what I rely on / what I prefer / is more valuable to me, versus lets say canned, basic info, found at a vendor's, etc. website.

Yes, a guy/gal just has to want to read... to learn, to make an effort lets say.... but .... I guess some need to be spoon fed so to speak or have their asses wiped for them.

I'd love to be spoon fed every single time I buy an off road product. If it wipes my ass I'll recommend it to others.

My Tazar JL has been in for a few days on my 2019 JL Rubicon 2 door. No ESS and AP has been a wonder! The last couple of days I have been getting U0102 codes about lost communication with the TCM. Not certain that the two are related, but thought I would check to see if anyone else has seen this? The Tazor is running on the beta code.

Also, if I take it into the dealership to troubleshoot the error, should I un-marry and fully remove the Tazor first?

@Firefly

I encourage you to roll back to final release, firmware 11.0.6, which was on the Tazer JL when you received it.

To do this, unmarry your Tazer JL and then load the 11.0.6 onto the Tazer JL. After this remarry the Tazer JL.

Now, with 11.0.6, if you still are seeing that U0102 after a couple of days driving, DO unmarry the Tazer JL, remove Tazer JL hardware and drive for a couple of days and see if the U0102 is history. IF not, make a dealership appt..

NEVER go to a dealership service appt. with the Tazer JL married to your JL and the Tazer JL hardware installed.

Never, mention to anyone at the dealership you were running a programmer.
