You can check “The Marketplace” on this forum. There’s usually a few used ones for sale. Being it’s not a contraption that wears out you’re better off buying used. That sucker took me about 4 hrs to build.

Instead of a hoist, you can use 4 ratchet straps bolted to the ceiling studs. Takes longer, but a whole lot cheaper.

NOW you can totally take the top off by yourself easy peasy BUT putting the top on in a hot garage with no circulation sheesh get ready for a sweat fest. I also learned the front doors are heavier then the rears why did I think they all share the same weight I just don’t know lol

You need a hoist/lift, I take mine off and put it on in under 10 minutes by myself. And that's with me not rushing.

I took mine off by myself the first time. Unbolted everything then stood up in the back with the top on my back and shoulders. I have a step in the hitch so I basically walked it out, laid it in the cart I built and then crawled out from under it. Actually didn’t damage anything then but did leave a few marks putting it back on.

Yeah, the first time I took mine off (manually), I got white marks on the black paint (prior jeep), since then I installed the hoist and it's no problem at all to take it on/off at a few minutes notice.

Exact same thing that happened to me. White marks on the roll bar and rear passenger door.

Where's your video???? I've seen videos on other sites that show how to take off by yourself with no mechanical help. I think if I didn't kill myself my wife and kids would kill me afterwards anyway, no a no-win for me.

Forgive the stupid new guy but can you tell me what this glorious looking piece of kit is and how much they run?

4 eye hooks in the ceiling, 4 cam buckle straps, and the topsey brackets. Easy peasy one person.
