I thought it was just me but that's how I feel. I'm not into rigs be it Broncos or Jeeps with anything over 37 inch tires.

I enjoy seeing everyday people go on realistic everyday trails and having fun.

I like to see how these vehicles perform in stock or stockish form. I feel like the industry went from off roading rigs to Monster trucks. If I wanted to see Monster trucks I'd go to the fair.

I remember when 33s where big. The industry has gotten out of control. It's no wonder people break axles, tire rods, steering knuckles and everything else. 40 inch tires are heavy and put a ton of stress on a vehicle. No thanks.

It’s definitely entertaining to watch stock or lightly modded rigs on realistic trails. It’s stuff I can look forward to, plan, and visit. Once we get to 40s, 50k engine swaps, it’s just unrealistic. I still watch and enjoy the videos, but it’s definitely not the same. You go from “that seems cool” to “yeah, that’s never happening”. Lol.

I don’t hate the Bronco. I have driven them both on and off road and in my opinion their review was fairly spot on.

It’s a great truck and it outperforms the Jeep on high speed trails in the desert. But in my humble opinion, the Jeep is better for where I take it, on tight trails deep in the woods with a lot of rocks and areas that require more flex and the ability to squeeze through areas that are to narrow for the Bronco.

I also think the Jeep is more in tune with the trail which makes it far more nimble than the Bronco. Could a Bronco go where my Jeep goes?…maybe. But my Jeep just feels more fun.

This. I’m pretty certain the Bronco makes a better CAR than a Wrangler does, just based on suspension alone… that said, if I’d wanted a car I would NOT have bought a Jeep. I bought a Jeep to go where I want to go ( muddy trails, fire roads, etc. etc). Speed, and highway manner were and are secondary considerations. For what I want it for, a 2dr Jeep is about top dog though in all honesty for MY use I wish it was a tad smaller (TJ size?).

I met them. They are not rude or condescending at all. They actually let me interrupt a family vacation just to let me meet them. They get a lot of negativity, but they seem to be genuinely good people. Their content has lost something. I couldn't begin to tell you what exactly it was that those earlier videos had that made them more enjoyable to watch. The state of their Jeep now is way out of reach for me, and maybe they are harder to relate with now. But I'm not angry or jealous and bear them no ill will. And I watch other people on YouTube that have unattainable Jeeps, so I don't know why their content is less interesting now.

It's impossible to tell how much of it is genuine once someone starts making money off their personality. They are probably acutely aware when they are talking to fans that anything negative they do can make its way back to their fanbase, and I imagine their success is wrapped up in their ability to continue putting on the show even when the camera is off. Obviously that's easier to do when you are genuinely nice person, but you also might just be really good at your job, and make no mistake this is their job.

Same, I can watch technical stuff on YT for longer than I would like to admit. There are some internet rabbit holes about which duct tape is better, who makes the best impact gun, and best entry level 3d printer that can take months to find the bottom.

The offroad world is a small one. If they were asshats, it would be well known in here for sure. From what I can tell, they have fun, and make a few bucks from it. They're nowhere near millions of subs like some YouTubers have but I'm sure they make enough to live on of course. Sure they get some sponsorship but they don't get handed things like an AMW engine swap for free and shit like that.

I've owned both and their opinions are on point. I purchased the Bronco over the new Defender in hopes it would suit my gf for some moderate off-roading while being a decent daily driver. The facts are the front end is extremely weak, had a tie rod break down in Moab, and the nuisances Kevin described are real which weighed heavily on the decision to get rid of it. We snagged a new JL Rubicon 4XE, and couldn't be happier..

Okay, the alleged news, recently posted about on their forum, was that the "never was all that bright" Lite Brite lady allegedly now has an "only fans" channel in which she apparently does ...well, whatever, for paying subscribers to watch and now she is releasing a video featuring the "unadulterated truth" about Broncos and Jeeps?

So, given all of these "alleged" facts, what is an old man supposed to think?

Selling one's self to Bilstein and AMW is an understandable business decision I suppose. Sad when one sells their own body/soul for a quick buck, though. And to think there are little girls that looked up to her.
