I don't think so, sting is one of if not the most popular color.I'm guessing Earl will replace Sting. I like Sting a lot. The color changes depending on the lighting.

Dealer probably said that since dealers include their free "extra swirls" complimentary car wash when they offer their free "extra quart" oil changes.I like both but sting grey is still an awesome color. I should have gotten sting grey. my dealer talked me out of it cause of how nuts I am with my paint and worrying about swirls. He said it swirls pretty easy if you aren't really careful washing.
Great minds…My JK was anvil, we have a punkin and now sting JL, honestly the more I stare at any color on a jeep the more I like it, but I always lean towards grays and orange for some reason. I really like sting gray with the red accents on the rubicon trim, very happy with that choice![]()

Or Plum Crazy,Hellraison, Colors , not just the 51st shade of grayHella Yella, Chief Blue, Punkin' Orange, Gobi are all colors I'd love to be able to order (with a soft top!). Earl is good. I hope they add 2 or 3 colors but that's a wild dream. If they only add Earl we'll have to decide between Gecko and Earl. Probably Earl, the Rubi red trim doesn't go well with Gecko for me.
I see "navy grey". So, do we get an option for a 3" gun in the back?

The guy who sold me my Jeep actually collects mustangs. I have seen 2 of them. He cares for them himself. We actually talked about dealer washes. Lol. So we both understood and we both have similar detailing techniques.Dealer probably said that since dealers include their free "extra swirls" complimentary car wash when they offer their free "extra quart" oil changes.
My Sting gray paint still looks like new, but hey, I never take it to the dealer, so there's that![]()
I would buy a plum crazy Jeep hands down. Wouldn't even think twice!!Or Plum Crazy,Hellraison, Colors , not just the 51st shade of gray
It's just like a slot machine. The thrill until we find out and hit it big with the color wheel! For crying out loud, with all of this agonizing over sting gray or earl gray or cactus gray or anvil whatever, what happened to all the supposedly tough off-road Jeepers out there who don't give a crap about how badly bashed their Jeep gets or how it looks?
I think one of the earlier commenters got it right. I think you jokers have spent too much time secretly watching and fantasizing about fifty shades of gray ...it has gone to your head ...subconscious and all that.
Ahhhh, good point! You are correct. Earl has blue tones. Ford’s Cactus has green tones.
Some have theorized that Earl is the same color as Dodge’s Smoke Show. I‘m not convinced yet, but here’s a Smoke Show Challenger. Could be a Tuscadero thing where they share a paint code but have different names.

Who said anything about keeping it a secret? Jeep doesn't give us much info so we have to keep ourselves entertained. For crying out loud, with all of this agonizing over sting gray or earl gray or cactus gray or anvil whatever, what happened to all the supposedly tough off-road Jeepers out there who don't give a crap about how badly bashed their Jeep gets or how it looks?

More like Cactus Gray....but blue instead of green tones. I think Area 51 is closer to Anvil.Earl Grey = Area 51 Bronco?
It's totally their version of Lunar Rock from Toyota:More like Cactus Gray....but blue instead of green tones. I think Area 51 is closer to Anvil.
