Tires are a big factor in going up a snowy and icy hill. You probably didn't engage 4L right either from the sounds of it. I'd recommend doing a bit more research before just jumping into climbing a snow/icy hill and expecting to pop it into 4L and climb so easily. Sounds like user error to me.
There is a difference between someone making an account for a handful of reviews and finding a real online presence. DTO has 165 Google Reviews, a Facebook page (over 100 votes), Autotrader (over 250 reviews), an Instagram page and sells their trucks here...
Yes, this is embarrassing if you forget to put your foot on the brake to start it.....probably a better idea to have an idea of what the dash showed you also before starting a thread.
The topic doesn't bother me enough to think about it for more than a second. Just throw some plasti dip or spray paint over the logo you want to cover. Not that big a deal and you'd sing a different tune if you were the one selling the product and wanted your name associated with a product.
I love the Jimny but it is what it is.....a very cool little vehicle that is missing some modern ride comfort and doesn't have the same capability of having removable top/doors while still being a fairly safe vehicle. Sure Wranglers (and so many other vehicles) ARE overpriced but the Jimny...
Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure that there are much better financial advice avenues found online rather than a Wrangler forum as evidenced by some of the bad suggestions in this thread.
Strange to see a thread asking if anyone heard of DTO customs when you can literally google them and see hundreds of reviews and a wide online presence. A 4 page thread could have been condensed to a no page thread if you communicated actively directly with DTO customs.
Probably browse the site for the countless threads, questions and comments from people in the same boat as you? You could also build a Jeep on their website with exactly what you are looking for at the price point that works for you.
I'm a fan if they can actually produce something close to those specs at this price point but I am doubtful that'll happen. Not a huge fan of the look but i'd drive it if the performance, price and range were as is stated. I wonder how bad visibility is in that thing with the rear windows and...
Who cares? Maybe they just wanted the blue accents. Not a big fan of labeling a vehicle something it's not but the blue accents do look pretty good on there with the choice of paint color.
