Usually the people who make these kinds of posts/threads believe that someone from Jeep corporate actually read these. They don't.

I would be more concerned with keeping a 4Xe past warranty than the corrosion. But anyway, adios.
That nice in cabin battery is extra safe of course.

These forums also amplify the negative issues. Very few people come on this forum and say "My JL is 4 years old and doesn't have a single spot of corrosion. Yay Stellantis!" or "My JL has 80,000 miles and the valve train doesn't make a loud ticking noise and my camshaft looks brand new!"
I say it all the time. Our 2019 had 63k trouble free miles on it when it was stolen. 0 corrosion, 0 drivetrain issues. Most of those miles were on 37s or 38s. Hard trails all over the country including 26 badge trails. 2 moab trips. Of course it needed ball joints, but we ran big tires on otherwise stock axles. The tie rod was still stock and going strong. Our 2022 we replaced it with had been just as trouble free. Pushing 30k miles now, on 39s for the last 6k or so. Mint in every way. Haven't even had a sun visit failure. Our JLs have been so terrible free I picked up a JT mojave in October. It's already on 37s and it's been great so far. We all hear the complaining the loudest, but many of us have had trouble free rigs or nothing more than normal wear and tear.

The OP is obviously frustrated. I have been there myself.

Let's not kid ourselves, Stellantis is a crappy company. They care only about investors. Customers, dealers, suppliers and employees can all rot in hell.

There's good reason Stellantis is now only the fifth largest automaker in N.A. and, if current trends hold, it may soon slip to sixth once Honda passes them.

I have enjoyed Jeeps for 28 years and I love my JT. But I do in spite of Stellantis, not thanks to them.

If potential problems are enough for you to “divorce” yourself from an entire brand, then maybe you should just buy yourself a bus pass. Reality check, Regardless what brand loyal folks tell you, all manufacturers have potential problems.

The clear coat is pealing off my 2002 Ford F250 in patches the size of Rhode Island and it’s only got 180k miles on it. guess I better sell my 2020 Ford F350 now and tell Ford to go kick rocks.

Not only did he sell his Jeep and make a thread trashing it, he came back to reply on a forum that supports the product he hates.
Maybe he should ask the mods to.... DELETE it... mwuhahahahahahaha!

First time Jeep buyer, truely enjoyed the topless and doorless life for just over a year, but have no confidence in Stellantis and decided to divorce myself from them.

Once I learned of Corrosiongate I knew I wasn't going to keep the Jeep beyond the new warranty period. What accelerated my decision was the tanking trade-in values. They are shockingly low (45% on a 2023), so I cut my losses after I found one buyer who wanted exactly my build and paid a little more.

I can see myself buying a cheap 2-door manual beater in the future, though it may not be a JL if they are corroded to dust by then. This was my first and likely last new Stellantis purchase.

Wishing you all many trouble-free miles ahead. ?
