Fun little New Year's thread.
I have Apex AutoLynx going in on the 13th.
If anything else happens it may be a winch or looking into a locker up front.

I'm quite pleased with things how they are up the this point.

Happy New Year!
I have the same 2024 jeep wrangler Willy's Extreme and I love it.

I find it funny that I see far far far more threads talking about issues following FAD delete, than FAD actually failing on the trail.

There is not enough evidence that suggest FAD is the weak point so far.

You're absolutely right. It's weak point cause everyone says or thinks it is. In our Jeep service department I have only seen 2 since the JL came out that something broke on the FAD. One was cause of abuse. I don't remember why the other one did. I don't abuse my Jeep, but do wheel in it. I do wish you could do an axle upgrade and be able to upgrade the inner axle on the FAD side. I do a lot of long trips out West from Missouri, and not having to worry about the driveshaft vibrating with my caster at 5.9 is nice.

Atlas, PSC, other steering components, and sliders on order, just a waiting game now. Later in the year hopefully RCV's and then off to the more minor stuff.

EDIT 1/6/25 - Front RCVs ordered, psc, Apex steering, Artec front truss, and motobilt sliders received but not yet installed.

I have a few plans in the works.

The 4:1 T case is the game changer. If you are used to crawl with 2.72:1 T case and decent at it, you will feel like a rock crawling pro with the new t case. Its like on and off switch.

I think RCV is the only one that makes upgraded inner shaft.

Mine is at 6.7 ... oops.

As of now, what's ordered
Next Venture corner armor and fender set
American Adventure Lab inner fenders

If I gain enough clearance, I'll change out the 37"s to 40"s
We'll see

That's not bad on the caster. RCV doesn't either. I have checked and nobody makes keeping FAD and upgrading the inner axle. Someone on here custom made one using parts from different companies. I remember reading the thread.

Yes it does. The guy use the inner shaft from RCV, which is chromoly, to custom made his own version.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
My JLUR is pretty much modded as much as it is going to get. With that said, put a 4 in lift on my buds Gladiator on New years eve.

Drove from Lansing Michigan to Toledo Ohio to give him a hand. I brought some additional tools. Mainly the 1/2 Milwaukee Impact gun and a big torque wrench.
Jeep Wrangler JL Share your 2025 Mods plan 1735851179192-hi

He was like I need help with the hi torque bolts. I said I got you bud. I am the one to call for those kind of things. Need a bolt torqued to 190 Ft- pounds. No problem, need a 40 put on your tire carrier? I got this.
