What is the aluminum bracket for under your seat?

Desert Does It calls it a "Multi-Mount Panel". This molle styled panel mounts to the front of the driver or passenger seat and allows for mounting, and quick access to, frequently used tools or emergency equipment such as Flashlights, Fire Extinguishers, Handguns, Axes, Knives, or tool rolls.

To everyone who recommended the Desert Does It front seat jackers and a Quad dead pedal, thank you!! They’ve been my favorite mods so far.
Also installed an Alien sun shade, a fire extinguisher, screen protector, and a spare tire brake light.
On the way… Redline Tuning Hood QuickLift and rear seat recliners.
More to come I’m sure…

I love a bunch of the mods I’ve made, but the AAL shelf is very handy for organizing storage AND providing some reasonably secure storage in the back when the top is off — because it makes it impossible to remove a cooler or tote without removing the shelf, which requires some tools and time.

You can choose to leave the shelf in bare metal or have it painted in some combination of colors and textures. I also chose to add the top piece that allows you to snap in the plastic Milwaukee tool boxes, as they are completely silent and secure — a great way to carry cooking stuff, first aid supplies, beach stuff, recovery gear — or whatever.
