the 2024 itself was a cosmetic overhaul and a bunch of tweaks like the hood vent. that costs a lot of money to do and its unlikely there will be any major changes for a few years yet outside of drive train options.
the new full floating rear axle and side impact air bags are a pretty big deal.

do you really think the T-6 will be a future standard engine option ? With the 25 GC not getting it… yet… but if the GC gets an SRT’ish higher dollar model, then perhaps a 392’ish higher dollar model will be made. 2c
All I know is that it wasn't listed on the UAW documents. We're left to try to interpret what that means.

They might give it the inline six turbo engine, we can only hope. It'll cost $120k though.

What I wish they did, was offer the diesel again. Or even a diesel hybrid.
400 hp and 600 lbs of torque, 35 mpg.

I think a 4cyl Diesel Hybrid would be amazing, but a lot of people just don't see it the same way.

I'd still prefer the 3.0 diesel, and throw the electric motor in.

I’d just prefer the 3.0 Diesel on it’s own, personally I’d rather not have the extra components of a hybrid.

I’m Happy with the Diesel just the way it is, and if they don’t offer a Diesel, it just takes away any incentive I might have to upgrade to a new wrangler.

A view days ago, Jeep Germany released a MY25 pricelist. I don´t know what´s going on there, because normally we in Germany are months behind the US. Any way, the only changes that could be noticed are within the colors. Mojito is back and ´41 replaces Sarge Green. No changes to the 4xe. Maybe this will tell us, the 4xe upgrade will come late in 2025, or even pushed back for MY26.

According to Motor Trend - the 392 V8 is back for 2025

What’s New
Jeep has brought back the V-8 Wrangler 392 for 2025, though without the Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit. Those features remain specific to last year’s Final Edition model. Everything else from 2024 carries over unchanged.
. . .
Performance and MPGs
The Hemi lives another year! Wrangler's four available drivetrains carry over for 2025. Every version of the Wrangler comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission aside for models equipped with the 3.6-liter V-6. Those six-cylinder Wranglers are also available with a no-cost manual transmission. Four-wheel drive is standard across the entire range.

I wonder if Stellantis will indeed try to frame the inline 6 as more as it is.

Here's how I'm thinking about it:
By way of example, when I configured my JLU order, the 2.0T was in isolation a no-cost engine choice. I needed only to pair it with the 850RE, at the time a $1.5K upcharge. That powertrain combination brings a smile to my face every time I drive my Jeep. That's no exaggeration.

The new 6 adds two cylinders and a 2nd turbo, and that's about it. Of course there's more horsepower on tap. Will Corporate try to excessively tart up that single data point in their ad copy, in the hopes that we'll then buy in to whatever inflated upcharge they attach to that engine selection? Price fatigue is and has been a recurringly mentioned subject on this forum for several years now. If that's occurring in the enthusiast community, arguably the most forgiving one, how much more so in the general consumer population?

Corporate went positively apeshit on the 392's year-over-year pricing, so my curiosity here is hardly rhetorical.

--------------

The foregoing presumes the new 6 fits in the JM-gen. Wrangler. I'm not otherwise taking a position on that debate.

The only way that I could possibly see the 3.0 inline 6 fitting is with only a single turbo, even then it would be a squeeze. The turbos and related plumbing for air, intercoolers and exhaust take up more space than the JL engine bay has to offer.

Mojito fans will rejoice, the rest of us will speculate endlessly about what shade of green '41 actually is. Would it be a matte version of Sarge? Anything else in the Stellantis lineup with an odd shade of green that it might be?

I'm also thinking that that minivan color that some of the "Last Call" 392's got might end up on the rest of the line some time in 2025.

I'm thinking it's a khaki color. Maybe even the same LIght Khaki Metallic that my 2006 originally was! Not a bad color, just not for me. But it was the last 2006 on the lot so I had no choice!

Another last call for the 392….I wonder how many “last calls” they’re going to make.

My suspicion is that it's the matte olive drab from the 41 concept a few years back
