I used the black 10MM nuts that I took off of the Rubi Rail when I removed it first. They fit perfectly.
I tried those and they didn’t work for me for some reason. The threads didn’t match up. I did find that 1/4-28 stainless nylon lock nuts worked though. Grabbed them at Lowe’s.

Could someone please help me to understand what I did wrong? :headbang::headbang:
I have a hard time of lining the end of roam rail flush against my rear fender. I really like others with a flush install, but mine stuck almost 2 inches out of fender. I can only move it inward for another half an inch before touching the paint.
Tagging @TTEChris and @thundermuffin for some expertise.
Much appreciated for any tips!

Looks like you have a sport/Sahara? If so the rear fenders aren't the same as the Rubicon fenders so the way they align with the steps will be slightly different.

I don’t have the in/out gap you have to the punch body/pinch seam though. I could get to 1/8” if I want too. Actually, I could get it up against the body if I wanted to. I definitely have the same gap as you on rear fender.

I like the looks of these.
If they made them for two doors I would buy a set.

Most of current ROAM posts are the older body mount, primarily a step w some protection. ROAM is developing frame mount which is meant to offer additional protection (and act as a real slider).
