Are 392's still available for order? Someone I work with may be interested in ordering.
He better hurry up, the way the factory is slow rolling 392 orders and the possibility of a cancellation notice the days to get a 392 on order for 2023 builds is passing quickly.

For those of your who purchased "long distance," how did you get to your new Jeep? Ride from a friend? Catch a plane? Trade-in the get-there vehicle?
I think we bought a car across state lines when I lived in Cincinnati, and it wasn't difficult. But I'm wondering about the different state technicalities, too.

I drove and traded in - with the sales tax credit in Washington State this worked well for me. My drive was ~ 7 hours each way, and I went ahead and grabbed an inexpensive hotel room so I wasn't trying to do this all in 1 day.

That would be a pretty sweet trip, too -- "out with the old" on the way there, "in with the new" all the way home!

Spent about $300 on a flight from Colorado to Michigan to pick mine up. Then drove it to Missouri to meet my wife and friends for a vacation on the lakes in the Ozarks.

This is a consolidation of the details spread throughout the Dealers % Below Invoice Thread. Please post updates either here or on that thread, mention @Ratbert, and I'll update the spreadsheet as soon as possible.

Affiliate Discounts:
  • Up to an additional 1% below invoice.
  • It's highly recommended to sign up for Tread Lightly.
    • 1% below invoice from most dealerships (ask them) even if they don't typically do below invoice pricing.
    • Must sign up ($100) 30 days before you take the Wrangler off of the lot.
    • Usually only applicable to custom orders.
  • Discussed here.
The recommended approach when looking for a dealership is to simply call them and tell them that you found out about their below-invoice pricing through JL Wrangler Forums.

has anyone used auto companion? are they trustworthy? also i read some very bad complaints about clarksville MD Has anyone had any experience with them. The reviews are making me skeptical to do business with them.

Drove the vehicle I was trading in (tax savings) 5.5 hrs each way. Did it in one day.

I flew from Fl to NC on a weekend with my wife. We picked up our Jeep and spend the rest of the day in town. We paid a one night hotel and drove it back for about 10 hours. Really nice get a way weekend and road trip.

is Clutch no longer participating in discounts? their fields appear to be blank other than the fees itself?

Seems like most of the dealers offering the good deals are east of the Mississippi river. I wonder why it works out that way.

I'm ok with doing a road trip to pick up a new Wrangler, but it would be nice if it was a "short" trip. I live in Fort Worth TX, so a dealer east of the Mississippi is further than I would like.

Ratbert's list only has one Texas dealer (South Point Dodge in Austin), and their offer isn't that great (and I haven't been able to get a quote from South Point that matches what the list says they offer). Mark Dodge in Lake Charles LA is the closest dealer to me on the list, other than South Point in Austin. Mark Dodge has a pretty good offer, but they are almost 400 miles from me.

400 miles is certainly doable, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has any info about good dealers offering good prices in Texas.

I'm out of the central Texas area and I'm driving to Granger in Iowa. Definitely not the ideal road trip but they are giving me quite the discount. I'll probably get a hotel on the way back. Just depends on how I feel at the time.

Mark Dodge will give free delivery up to 250 miles if that helps
