Since I am learning as I go, I can only say they know the Oregon system pretty well. It is crazy but Oregon will not let me register the vehicle until they have processed the sale. That can take between 60- 90 days. At that time Oregon will get in touch with you and say you can now register the vehicle. Oregon has a luxury tax that they are required to collected, but they can not pay, I have to pay so they are will issue me check so I can pay. It crazy but that is how the system works. I don't know if I 'll have to do DEQ or is that is already covered being a new vehicle. So far Petersons has either walked me thru it or has taken care of it. My wife and I flew over to pick it up. It was cheeper than driving there and back with 2 cars. We even stay at a hotel and made a date of it. Our order came fast It was 17days from order to built.
Thanks very much for the walk-through. Being close to Oregon I would imagine it's not their first rodeo. Again, thanks.

This is a consolidation of the details spread throughout the Dealers % Below Invoice Thread. Please post updates either here or on that thread, mention @Ratbert, and I'll update the spreadsheet as soon as possible.

Affiliate Discounts:
  • Up to an additional 1% below invoice.
  • It's highly recommended to sign up for Tread Lightly.
    • 1% below invoice from most dealerships (ask them) even if they don't typically do below invoice pricing.
    • Must sign up ($100) 30 days before you take the Wrangler off of the lot.
    • Usually only applicable to custom orders.
  • Discussed here.
The recommended approach when looking for a dealership is to simply call them and tell them that you found out about their below-invoice pricing through JL Wrangler Forums.

Criswell Jeep factory orders & in-stock pricing:

2023/2024 Factory orders 8% below invoice (excluding Rubicon 392) until April 30, 2023 @ 2:00 pm EST.

2023/2024 Jeeps including Wrangler 4Xe, Grand Cherokee (2 row, 3 row & 4Xe), Gladiator, Cherokee, Compass and Renegade factory orders = 8% below final factory invoice (6% Jeep Forum with Affiliate Rewards + 2% conventional financing/leasing).

***8% below invoice now available on all in stock vehicles 30 days or older.***

NOTE: The 2% conventional financing discount does not include Chrysler special financing offers and requires financing 75% of the vehicle sales price. We are affiliated with multiple banks that compete to earn your business. As a result, they offer very competitive rates.

Our forum pricing does not include your state and local taxes, tag/title fees and dealer processing of $500.

All orders require a $500 fully refundable deposit and proof of Affiliate Rewards prior to submitting your build to the factory.

No additional fees, equipment or accessories added to your price. Wheel locks are included at no charge.

***All orders are price protected from date of order by Jeep SOP (sold order protection).***

Your salesman can provide a guaranteed shipping cost at time of order.

Please contact us at [email protected] or 301-212-4411.

Has anyone had a negative experience with trading in a vehicle when ordering? Since the trade value can’t be determined until the time of delivery, I’m worried the dealer will low-ball me on the trade. It could be enough to take away from the below invoice savings. Seems like it takes away any leverage in negotiating the trade. Has anyone had this experience?

Find out what they will give you for it. If you don't like the offer, sell it to someone else. Selling it directly to the next owner will probably get you the most $$, but you can also go through a service like Carvana, WeBuyAnyCar, or TrueCar. (At least one of them will pick up from your location, too.)
If you are concerned about being cornered, make sure the language in your order doesn't have a price including a trade-in, and/or specifically says the buyer can decline the trade-in offer.
Just my 2¢.

One thing that @PSU1 might need to consider is that many states deduct trade-in value from the vehicle's cost when determining taxes.

Great question, what I did to mitigate this is ask them for a trade in quote twice during my 6 month wait.....so I know what they consider recent value, if they try to lowball me at the end, I'll just walk away.....they can keep the deposit and their Jeep. YOU have leverage here as a customer, sometimes we forget that.

Yes, I’d rather trade and get the tax credit than sell to one of those wholesale companies like WeBuyAnyCar. The offers from Vroom and WeBuyAnyCar are substantially less—like $5,000 less—than what I’ve been offered by a dealer on a trade (I was working a deal on a 2023 but recently backed out after the 2024 ordering was announced.) Last week I inquired about ordering a 2024 at 8% under invoice with a dealer that is listed on this thread. The dealer was completely uninterested in discussing my trade—granted, the future value can’t be determined right now, but this dealer wouldn’t even commit to taking the trade as part of the deal. It just took me off-guard because I’ve never had a dealer seemingly turn down a decent trade. I’m just wondering if anyone here is experiencing the same thing when it comes to ordering? I do agree with Shark01, that I can just walk away, but I’d rather not be put in that position if I can help it.

Good point! And Pennsylvania is one of them.

We Are!
Ohio also subtracts the trade in from the purchase price. I saved $3000 by trading my Jeep in. I got less then I wanted but the $3000 evened it out.

We'll give you a conservative trade value good until your order arrives. Send me your VIN and mileage and I'll get you an appraisal on your trade.

Thanks for the details, but I really don't plan on trying to keep track of time-limited sales. It's challenging enough to just keep the relatively static discounts updated.

Do you actually have $ prices and estimated delivery dates? I'm sure we would all appreciate whatever info you have on the 2024s that hasn't been widely released yet (even if it's just MSRP #s)?

That's understandable. We appreciate your help getting our information out to the Forum faithful.
If you would please leave our pricing blank or remove it altogether if you think that is best. Unfortunately market conditions are ever changing and as a result our pricing is going to fluctuate accordingly.
Thank you again for all your help.
