This is good advice. I also recommend doing this against Amazon; when a product is available on manufacturers' site, I always go for manufacturer when final pricing is immaterially different. More money goes into the business and less to the middleman so I see the trivial additional time it takes to investigate as well worth it as it is a way to support good businesses.sometimes you're better off buying direct...
I've said it before....
But Quadratec used to be THE place for Jeep parts. I'm talking early 2000s. Getting their catalog used used to make me feel like a kid at Christmas time. They had everything and were attentive to their customer base
Then they got cocky and complacent. Other companies came in and stole their lunch.
Now all they do is push their own crappy version of just about everything for Jeep.
Since getting my JL, NorthRidge 4x4 has been my go to vendor, and the same goes for a lot of people on this forum. They have spectacular customer service (you can actually talk to a REAL person), and have a very large selection of parts.
I rarely even glance at a Quadratec magazine anymore. Even if they have a slightly lower price, I'll still go to NorthRidge 4x4
Don't need any discount, I just want to get my RCV. LOL :D
Good afternoon Giorgi,Hi guys, I placed an order two weeks ago and was hoping they would ship my RCV shafts soon. Two days ago, I decided to call and ask for shipping information. I waited on hold for an hour, no answer. Still no reply to my email either, and the stupid online bot just kept giving me the same answers to all of my questions, no real help at all.
Does anyone know what's going on with them? What has your experience been like with Quadratec?
Hang in there and work through the chat feature. I think in the end they will do the right thing. It's just exhausting dealing with them when there is any issue. Thanks for sharing your experience with them, unfortunately, I'm currently dealing with a nightmare situation with Quadratec right now
Really that’s so weird. I had such a great experience. I ordered a new bumper with preinstalled fog lights, and one of them was leaking water into the light. So I called they answered right away and the guy said I will send you out a new bumper and then just take whatever you need off of it and send it back.
