I usually avoid Prime Day like the plague, too much junk, and too hard to find the good stuff. But I had to check out the link to the Redline lifts, and ordered them, then saw some shelving I had in my saved list was finally on sale, then remembered a couple of other things... Now I am looking at storage thingies. I hate you all. :)

Those were on sale but I waffled too long and missed out on the Champion (I wanted it because it was already dual fuel). Snagged the Westinghouse instead, there’s a company releasing a propane conversion kit for it so while it won’t be as good a deal after buying the kit it’s better than no deal at all….

I bought these floor mats for my 4xe last year for $88, they're down to $80 for Prime Day. Looks like this listing is specific to the 4xe but the brand has them for standard JLs too.

They're a knock-off Amazon brand, but I wasn't about to invest real money into name-brand ones for seasonal mats. And honestly, they're pretty great. They're thick and line up perfectly in my truck. Getting front and back mats for less than you'd expect to pay for the fronts only is nice.

Also picked up a couple Yeti can coolers -- these things are a ripoff at $30, but hey for $15 I can live with that to keep the tallboys cool at the beach.

There are a few US manufacturers that sell through Amazon, but for the most part... buy today on Amazon, realize it is cheap Chinese knock-off crap, sell on Craigslist at a loss tomorrow. It amazes me the number of items sold on CL because someone wanted to save a $. Buy AMERICAN MADE from the many US Suppliers that manufacture quality products for long term function. You might pay a little more, but you won't be replacing it because it broke or rusted, nor reselling it as soon as you open the box and realize the build sucks...

Do you really open the hood that often? I'm thinking it'd be very useful if you don't have onboard air.
Every couple fill ups to check oil levels? Running new wire for lights and such? Clean the mud that gets in there? Im sure I have mine up a few times a month.

For me it’s just a convenience thing. It’s takes one second to open the hood, it opens higher than the stupid stock stick so you never hit your head, and there’s no chance of it closing if something is bumped into

I've yet to *ever* buy anything on Prime Day, tbh. There are very few "must-have" deals. Black Friday has kind of gotten to be the same way.

This year, they *do* have a 43" 4K TV for $100, but you had to have requested an invite to purchase it in the past few weeks. I did, and if I get an invite, I'll buy that, but that's it.
Then pray it doesn’t arrive with a cracked screen. Ordering flat screen TV’s through the mail is a hard pass for me.

I wound up not getting an invite, so a moot point, but generally, yeah, not super wise. I wouldn't order from anyone other than Amazon - they're pretty good about returns/etc.

Easy. Whisky.
One of the few things that are actually really on sale on prime day. Most of the stuff is not actually cheaper than normal.
I think you cannot get that on the US Amazon, but in Germany you can buy more or less anything on Amazon.
Lot's of local online shops you can also pay with Amazon also.
Anyhow.... Yeah... whiskey. At least enough that I have to hide some in the garage so my wife doesn't see it.
