Known in the ADV rider community. Not recommended if the use case includes inadvertent rough riding and/or handling. Dripping fuel (from a compromised seam) onto a hot muffler is no bueno. This reality informed my decision to pivot to Rotopax fuel containers.

Edit: Can't personally recommend one (never used it), but I know people who use them for their ATVs.

It was a wink-and-a-nod comment intended for those owners who've struggled with hard parts that were a challenge to install, despite being advertised as compatible with the model of Wrangler that they actually own. How much worse might that be when attempting cross-pollination between generations?

The struggles that forum members have experienced with, for example, Rival's stamped front bumper makes for interesting reading.

I had to return an Asfir skid plate because it simply wouldn't work on the very vehicle for which the company claimed it was intended.

"Force fit" was used intentionally because it has a basis in fact.

It's nice that your JK-to-JL install went well.
