This last sentence, 100%. Use the appropriate nozzle and you won’t cut anything off.Won't strip paint or lose a finger unless you get within six inches of the spray. And...even six inches will only sting (badly) . Twelve inches is a good safety margin. I've owned a pressure washer for 25 years.
Oh...and I've had some cut toes as well, but only when I accidently swing the gun and get momentarily too close to my foot.
That said, if you have it in pin-point mode it will cut like a laser. I always use the widest nozzle.
No cutoff. Keep suggestions coming!Did I miss the cutoff? I got this one and it’s on sale now. Blasts crud out of the wheel wells very well: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-1...Blaster-and-Detergent-RY141612-CMB1/312422908
Based upon your comment allow me to suggest you take a pass on the John Deere 4000 psi, because YES it will almost cut your finger off (ask me how I know) and it will strip paint and cut concrete to boot. Pass on this!Looking at purchasing a power/pressure washer and foam cannon for washing my Jeep and my little convertible. What do you guys use? Doesn't need to be super powerful- I'd prefer not to strip paint or accidentally lose a finger.
2,000 PSI is “ouch” range, so I figure 4,000 is “have the car running” range for a trip to the vet. I need a new one and figure 2,700-3,000 is more than enough to clean siding, concrete, etc.Based upon your comment allow me to suggest you take a pass on the John Deere 4000 psi, because YES it will almost cut your finger off (ask me how I know) and it will strip paint and cut concrete to boot. Same here, or the newest iteration (different colors and 1900 psi on mine). Use it with an MJJC foam canon with narrow orifice, spray gun with QD connectors (Sooprinse knockoff brand), and a kink free high pressure hose. I use only 40* 2.5gpm and 3.0gpm tips when rinsing. No issues.I use this one it's plenty powerful and small.
