Performance suspension for 392?

What differences did you notice? I had a Teraflex lift on my 2018 JLUR with the adjustable falcon shocks. Seemed like a great kit, but it was pretty stiff even on the softest setting.

I like the progressive rate spring such as the rock krawler one. Also like their kits well built, kinda pita to rebuild the joints every 20k miles but oh boy the flex is impressive. Rides nice paired with falcon adjustable shocks.

The teraflex kit was sooooo stiff! It was basically like driving railroad ties no matter what I was driving over. Metalcloak was way more refined oem feeling.

Thanks for the kind words above. We are excited to have a 392 in the shop at the moment. Doing some test fitting of certain parts and will be driving away with some Fox 2.5 DSC shocks and our springs. Very nice Jeep thats for sure. If you have any 392 suspension questions, shoot us a message!

We tune all of our shocks specific to what the customer wants, offroad/street etc. They ride great, WAY better than factory shocks. Much better handling and control.

Nice I’m not ready to give up the factory ride other than my slightly larger tires, but if I swap everything out I will definitely get my shock replacements tuned from you.

Is that on stock springs? Any clearance issues on the rear reservoir from the sway bar under flex? I've heard the 3.0 DSC remotes have clearance issues in the back.

Looks like you have some MetalCloak hardware elsewhere on the build. (thumbs up)

Fox really does have a great product. We run Kings also but have to say I really like the Fox on my 392. Totally overkill but that’s ok.

Those are our standard JLUR Springs. I believe .5" or 1" spacer in the rear to get the leveled height. These are 2.5 DIA shocks, no issues with the reservoir clearance. Metalcloak parts were already on the Jeep.

For folks running the MC 3.5" lift and Fox 2.5 DSC's, what part number on the shocks are you using?
Metal Cloak is saying they should be 30" extended and 17.7" compressed, eyelet center to eyelet center.

Does anybody know the actual lift of the metalcloak 392 3.5 game changer? Is it 3.5 over stock, or 1.5 over stock (to account for existing 2" lift).

As far as I know, all lifts that include new springs are compared to Rubicon height. Assuming the typical 2.0/3.6 Rubicon front shock is 20" eye-to-eye @ ride height, the Metalcloak 3.5" kit should take it to 23.5" eye-to-eye @ ride height. In reality it may be +/- depending on how yours sits now, weight added, options, etc.

I ordered the MC 3 1/2" lift last Friday....I'm looking at the Fox 2.5's, haven't pulled the trigger yet.

FedEx reported that I would have all 5 boxes by Friday. The first two showed up today (2 days late) and the others are somewhere in the metro area. Not sure how FedEx could screw that up. I wanted to start tomorrow. Once I get everything and installed, I'll give an initial report.
