Honestly, I'm not trying to argue with you, and I was pointing out the anniversary thing just so you know. I had to look it up since I knew it wasn't available in the 1990s. My point though, is the salesperson would have seen the status. I've ordered two JLRs, a 2021 and a 2022. Both times the salesperson updated me when the status changed. I don't think he was specifically looking at orders, but maybe. I'm more inclined to think he got a notification of a status change. Either way, an astute salesperson would have noticed the change, as did the two salespeople from whom I've ordered, and they would have let you know. Some guy playing golf in Italy isn't going to know your order got cancelled and send you a quick email, your salesperson on the other hand should. If the dealership also wasn’t notified though how would they know that an order got cancelled? That’s on corporate. As far as the anniversary Rubicons, I may have misspoke and said 30th anniversary but meant 20th. The dealership was who suggested to me that Jeep may have simply made mine an anniversary Jeep and pushed it to a later build. He had said 30th and I didn’t do the math. Because you’re right. They didn’t come out until what was it 2003 or 2004? So my bad on that. And I realize that Jeep doesn’t give a crap about 1 customer. Or even a small number of us. But, if they are going to ignore the issue, I will eventually find a way to get in direct contact and get answers. And fortunately for me, I have a way of doing that. I’ll be cordial. But I’ll get an answer one way or the other.
