So you’re saying basically, swap the spacers for springs ?
Lifting 2.5" I would have definitely purchased & installed all new coil springs, yes. A coil spacer may still be needed for leveling, after market steel bumpers, winch, rear tire carrier, larger heavier spare, etc.

Of course the geometry still needs to be corrected. Track bars or relocation brackets and I would prefer adjustable LCAs with 2.5" of lift to correct the castor angle.

I'm necessarily diagnosing your steering issue, just giving some friendly advice. Did it pull to the right before you installed 2.5" coil spacers?

When I purchased at the dealership it had the same pull, it took them several hours on the alignment rack to fix, but they did fix it. Then we installed the lift and the pull was back. We installed geometry brackets and a front adjustable track bar and a rear track bar bracket, re aligned and still pulls right.

Right on 👍

Now see I didn't know you had installed all of that new hardware and still had the same problem.

It started as a cheap lift, now it’s a cheap lift with some stuff. Looks great rides great just need this steering issue resolved.

And I'm not one to scream " it's the RC lift " even though I had ran some RC parts on my TJ and they failed. A lot of people use them and they're fine.

At this point, the only part of my lift that’s RC are the spacers The sway bar extensions and the adjustable track bar

Update, had the alignment shop realign and we are very much more drivable. Still a slight pill to the right likely road crown more then anything but the drive is much better. Still a little dead in the center and a little wonder but likely what to expect on 35s. Appreciate the help everyone.

That's good, I'm glad you got it straightened out. 👍

So, in conclusion based on my experience, using the rough country or any 2 inch + spacer lift with shocks and sway bar extensions, will hugely benefit from the front control arm geometry brackets, rear track bar bracket and an adjustable front track bar or bracket.

I used:

2.5 inch RC spacer lift with n3 shocks
- $325

JKS 6102 Geometry Brackets
- $189

TerraFlex 1953600 rear Track Bar Bracket
- $115

Rough Country Adjustable Front Track bar
- $149

$778 total

Could have had a better lift for sure but would have likely been at least double the money. Not a bad set up for a mall crawler.

The key was a good alignment.

Only regret is not just getting the springs to make it more complete of a kit but it rides like stock so can’t complain.

Did you happen to get the printout? Be interesting to see what it was.
