So, in conclusion based on my experience, using the rough country or any 2 inch + spacer lift with shocks and sway bar extensions, will hugely benefit from the front control arm geometry brackets, rear track bar bracket and an adjustable front track bar or bracket.

I used:

2.5 inch RC spacer lift with n3 shocks
- $325

JKS 6102 Geometry Brackets
- $189

TerraFlex 1953600 rear Track Bar Bracket
- $115

Rough Country Adjustable Front Track bar
- $149

$778 total

Could have had a better lift for sure but would have likely been at least double the money. Not a bad set up for a mall crawler.

The key was a good alignment.

Only regret is not just getting the springs to make it more complete of a kit but it rides like stock so can’t complain.
Glad it all worked out for you. If you know that you aren't going to be going offroad in it, then there's no good reason to spend a crap ton of money. I think that you spent wisely where it was necessary.

Did you happen to get the printout? Be interesting to see what it was.

and if I did intend to take it off road at some point, what other then springs would I need to change ?

No need to even change to springs. Go wheel it until you identify a weakness.

Even with the spacers you will be fine for most stuff that people will do. I ran 2" spacers for years and was just fine. There was never a moment where spacers kept me from doing something. Longer springs will allow more flex, but you can do a lot of wheeling before identifying a spot where more flex would have been necessary. I 100% agree with @GATORB8 wheel it. If you find something that could be better, then upgrade. Otherwise just wheel it and enjoy it.

Like the other 2 mentioned above, go out and wheel. You can wheel in a stock Jeep, just nothing too extreme depending on the trim. If you were to add to suspension besides the springs, you may want adjustable LCAs, different shocks or longer\different sway bar links.

Makes sense, this stuff does gets addicting.

When you say longer swaybar links, Is that for a larger lift or are the ones that come from rough country too short?
