Highly, highly recommend using Ratbert's spreadsheet when you order your next one. If you can handle the timeline from order to delivery (can be weeks or months, depending on various unknown variables) you can save a buttload of money. When I ordered mine back in 2021, I wound up paying 15% less than MSRP. Saved around $7K, even when you factor in the $1K I spent to go pick it up and drive it back.

I totally agree with side airbags. But she isn't budging.
I however, will be trading my x7 in for a 24 or 25 bc I want the side airbags and lifestyle front bumper. She just has her mind mind up.
We found a new one thanks to auto trader and it's insane!
We are literally begging the dealership to sell it to us. Its been sitting on the lot but I swear, they really could care less about selling it to me! I offered cash, I offered to finance (which I am opposed to and wld pay off asap), and I'm obvs paying the shipping, and I already have the shipping company ready to go- Yet still, sales guy is at lunch..... we will call you back... like I'm screaming "sell me the jeep" very nicely and politely bc they have what I need and I'm just sitting here waiting....
Is there some reason dealerships don't want to sell out of state? I've never had this problem buying vehicles.

Got both of mine out of state also, hardest part was just driving there. Stay on them, you will get it!

I went with Cars dot com. From what I gather your daughter has a specific set of requirements.

I too had them for my choice.

I wanted a 2019 Rubicon 2 Door... Yada yada yada... did a nation wide search and from 5,500 Rubicons it narrowed down to just 6 and only 1 was as stock oem for its use through the years. I wanted black on black but ended up getting white with tan leather. It took a few months of searching but was well worth it.

Your best bet is Nov through Jan to find one. I was lucky to find mine before July. Most sold by Memorial Day, before I could make a decision.
