Stock wheels and tires, but have a roofrack and stock steel bumpers.

Wait for it. It’s coming! ?
I get 99 MPG any time I drive anywhere, but thats on 37s, so close enough.

Granted, thats only for the ~mile downhill from my house to the main road......

With 37s, 3.6 auto and 4.10s I am around 13 mpg around town and most fill ups, and about 15 on longer freeway drives. Varies a bit with winter gas and winds.

Lol this is not normal. Are you driving it like a Mustang?

I get 22-23mpg on the highway with 33's M/Ts, 3.6 stock gearing, lifted, metal bumpers and skid plate.
There's a difference in driving the 1980s speed limit vs the average freeway speed these days. Sure at 55mph cruising along you can see low 20s, drive 80mph like everyone else on I-5 and it's mid to low teens. I'd hardly call that driving it like a mustang, but to each his own.

Definitely get better than 15mpg on 33s while driving at 70~75mph. Not sure at 80mph. Lol I don't think "Everyone" is driving at 80 mph on I-5.....

Not in LA traffic, come north and even the prius will be blowing by you if you're doing 70. The CHP won't even move from the side of the road when you go bye with the cruise set at 80-85 up here.

Discussion on MPGs in these boxes on wheels is about as useful as having another bunghole on my elbow. Aside from that, I’d say the lower than normal MPG might have to do with the quality and temperature of the fuel. Report back with updated mileage once the temps increase to compare.

STRAIGHT Talk. Been on Jeep forums/BBs since the early 80s.
I’ve seen you claim this on two separate threads. Mind me asking which forums/ BBs? I’d assume to be asking those that were around in the 80/90s. What kind of member traffic would you see on those forums?

Was your Jeep recalibrated for the 37s? If not, your mpg will be showing lower than actual.

I highly doubt it was. This is a "socom" package that I was able to get for a decent deal. I'm still trying to figure out everything that has been done to it. I'll be upgrading parts as needed.
