I have been driving my stock '21 JLUR for about 7 months and 7,000 miles and my average MPG is 15.8. This will fluctuate between 15.8 and 17 depending on how much City or highway driving at any given time. This is my first manual transmission. Sticker says I should be getting 19 average City/highway but I know sticker is in ideal conditions.

What is everyone else getting?

I just passed 50,000 miles in just under 23 months. I have averaged 20.15 mpg over the lifetime of the Jeep. I recently took the family on a vacation to New Mexico and Colorado from Arizona and covered 1667 miles in 6 days and average a bit over 21 mpg. That includes a lot of 10,000 foot passes we climbed and spending a lot of time over 7,000 feet in Colorado and northern New Mexico and Arizona. I am not a lead foot and generally keep my highway speed between 65 and 69 mph.

I did notice my fuel mileage get better as the mechanicals seemed to wear in and by 20,000 miles I was almost always seeing close to 21 mpg. Hope that helps.

I’m about 6,000 miles in and 98% city driving with about the same mpg as you. Only highway I get is in my way to/from ORV parks. I live within 6 miles of my office, all back roads.
Edit: I checked on the way home, I’m up to over 18 now.

I average 16-17 for mostly short (less than 10 miles) mostly city some highway. Was getting about 19 highway on a longer trip I took. Have under 3000 miles on the jeep

I'm running 37s on my 2018 JLR (2DR) and have 22k miles. Live at 6,000+ feet altitude. Mileage around town is 17ish, have seen 19, but that's about normal. On the freeway it can go as high as 22MPG but if you’re driving over 70MPH the aerodynamics prevents it from getting much better. I also have a Gladiator Rubicon, 8-spd, on 37s and it gets better mileage around town and on the freeway.

Once I understood how to crawl, I love it. First outing I was gasing when starting out of habit, not understanding that’s totally unnecessary in 4Lo. Just let the clutch out and then move on to higher apeeds if needed.

Based on the few responses I seem to be average. Over the winter I did a lot of long trips up to the mountains and my average was around 18, meaning my highway average must have been higher. The past 2 months is all neighborhood driving and my average shows.

I love my manual. Revs like crazy which took some getting used to. Instead of shifting around 2 or 2.5k I won't shift until minimum 3k and many times, especially first into second, around 4k RPM.

im usually around 17-18 give or take. IM in Va and have a lot of hilly roads. Took it to Louisville a couple weekends ago, freeway 75ish mph thru the hills was right at 17 when i manually figured it out. Makes me miss my GTO which got 20-22 at 80 on the freeway LOL.

I've put 10k on my JLUR (20k on the Jeep). Averaging 20 mpg calculated. Most of my driving is 2 lane roads, 30-55 mph.

The MPG display is about 15-16 MPG on a two door JLR w/37's and 3" RK lift. I drive up the mountains a good bit and on fire roads.

overall good. the pedal pressure is as light as something u would find on a 4 cylinder.
what kinda sucks is the last two gears ..they are much more closely spaced(gear ratio)
so so 1st to 4th the ratios are spaced like a normal manual , but when switching to 5th u have slip it in real quick for a smooth shift ...same for 6th . When going on a highway ramp through the gears what I usually do is skip 5th and go form 4th directly to 6th

I'm right at 17 in mine, so don't expect much more.
