Mpg?

Sure, I'll join in on the 3,173,116th post about "what's your fuel economy?".... stock suspension, 37" AT3Ws and 20mph with the little 4 banger. 2.5" Clayton Overland is going on around March 17 so I'm assuming it will change, hoping not worse than 18mpg, obviously freeway driving at 75+ I'm getting worse, like 14mpg.

I fully understand aerodynamics and why the MPG is I lower than what uis advertised.
I was more looking to see what normal for jeep in a similar build spec to make sure something else isn't going on.

Sure, the build spec may be similar but the driving habits may not. You floor it everywhere you go because you want to make big loud vroom noises to look cool for the people that couldn't care less about you or do you feather the throttle like me because you're scared to go fast and you're poor so you can't afford to fill up twice a week? :D Do you drive where it's really windy? Do you have a lot of hills? So many factors other than "I have Jeep, Jeep bad fuel economy, why broke?"

I have a manual Sport V6 on 35s, 4.88 gearing. I'm getting between 17-18mpg. I think originally stock was getting between 22-23mpg. I have metal bumpers and skids as well as a side window rack which is all contributing the the lower mpg.

Between the mountains here and the stop and go traffic it's almost even between hw/surface streets.

I get it driving styles and conditions change everything! The base here is pretty flat. Winds have been calm this week and due to trying to get a fair estimate of what MPGs are I've not been going zoom zoom around base and conscious of not treating my gas pedal like a rudder on take off. I've also not been letting it just sit and warm up in the balmy temps we have been having this week here Anchorage.
Hope this helps clear a few things up.

Picked up a 2021 JLU rubicon with a 3.5" lift. running 37x13.5x20r tires. I have had it for just over a week now and It's getting around 11MPG based on searched on here this seems pretty low.
I live in Alaska so it's been pretty cold but I've tried to not let it just sit and idle.
Habnt had it on the highway much either. It's been mostly just on base. So 25-35mph typical driving speeds.

Driving conditions and styles have a drastic impact on MPG. Based on this description there is a lot of stop and go driving over very short distances, in really cold weather. That is all a really bad combination for MPG, especially since the engine is probably rarely up to operating temps.

HOPE it stays that way or get cheaper as I got a 6 week Texas business trip coming up, gonna be about 3XXX mi in my F 450.

Only time it'll go up is closer to summer. The second people start traveling the roads more, they start raising prices. I doubt it will go much past $4.50 this year but who knows.

Honestly the big thing I do is I always fuel up on a day of the week not touching a weekend. So Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. If you fuel up on Friday Saturday or Sunday you're going to get hit with those weekend prices, if you fuel up on Monday it kind of varies but you tend to get a lot of those Sunday prices. I found a lot of places drop their prices anywhere from $0.10 to $0.40 if you buy on a Tuesday Wednesday Thursday.

JL Sport 3.6L with the following upgrades: 35s, 4:88 gears, 4inch lift, skid plates, aftermarket bumpers, lockers and many minor things and get 16-18mpg living at 7000ft. When first bought and no mods with 285s and 3:73 gears it got 14-16mpg. The gearing really helped me as I never saw 8th gear on the highway unless going downhill

The more you mod, the more gain, put on some 37s and I bet you kick up to almost 20 mpg, go for it!

I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. My new tires were contacting the rock sliders so I was driving conservatively after getting them on. My MPGs hung around 12.5-12.6 at first until I got the sliders off then I started getting less gun shy and the MPGs started sliding south.

I have a 4 door 2022 3.0 Turbo Diesel Rubicon. I have a Mopar 2.5 inch lift on it and I am averaging 25 mpg.
