Actually I tied in the switch and switch illumination to the Ignition aux wire under dash. I use aux 4 for rear lights in the bumper (and eventually roof rack lights).

I wired the compressor directly to the 2nd battery (Genesis Dual Battery system) , and I wired the winch the same way ( but used Aux 1 for the winch cutoff solenoid).

Since I've discussed 1 and 4, I'll go ahead and tell ya, 3 is backlighting for my Rigid 360s and 2 is actual light illumination for my 360s.

I'm out of Aux options, so I'm done adding stuff!
Until you add more switches! ;)

If there was an "elegant" way to have more aux switches, I might consider it. I really don't like the switch pod look, or a bank of non-factory stuff on my dash.

Feel the same way, but I feel like 4 just isn't enough and I haven't used one yet! Only hardwired my GMRS radio direct to battery from the passenger footwell.

Not to derail the thread, but I think you can get creative with a switch pros panel, 67 designs holder, 67d arm, and a CMM A-pillar mount for a relatively clean look. Not factory, but about the cleanest option I could come up with off the top of my head and you could move/remove it later and nobody would know it was there.

The Grimm website notes capability with Evo and stock only. I went with the Evo fender liners and like the way they look. Bare metal though so I painted them black. Installation of the Grimm mount was quite easy.
Thanks. I actually ended up purchasing the MORE bracket.

SwitchPros SP9100 system and their direct bolt on and easily reversible grab handle mount, which doesn't at all impede the use of the handle or any other factory controls.

Because of my aftermarket handle cover, I couldn't use the SwitchPros lower handle bezel that provides a pass through for the communication cable closer to the switch panel. Otherwise, the location of the panel is unchanged.

I just bought an ARB single compressor (CKMA12). I have no intention of adding lockers and want to mount it under the (front) seat since I lay the rears down regularly. Has anyone does this with one of the twin mounts or is there a special mount for the single compressor? I can't seem to find one.

The ARB under seat mount will work for either the single or the twin compressor, based on the installation instructions.

I installed the twin compressor under the passenger seat with the ARB mount.

Did you reference the ARB manual that gave the specs for extending the air filters and the hose size required for given lengths? You might be starving it for air.

Good point...I used 3/8" hose which is a bit on the small side for about 3' of hose length where the installation guide calls for .47"...I could not justify that size hose when I saw the 1/4 pipe threads on the twin intakes anyway...I'll revisit that as time goes on and I use it and track the heat signature on the cylinders...maybe I'll install 1/2" hose on one side and compare the temps.

The air compressor otherwise worked fine airing up two back tires from 10 psi to about 60 psi in a few minutes each on my one ton dually...

Definitely go up to the 1/2" hose size. :like:

That's what the ARB engineer recommended to us when we were designing the Grimm twin compressor kit.

Thank you Tim, I'll do it.

I based my wiring harness from the compressor to the switch on the Grimm kit.

Can you mount the ARB twin compressor + manifold on the Grimm mount?
