I’ll add this and I understand you are not looking for used….

If you can afford it from what I’ve read and seen on the trail Metalcloack or Clayton are awesome.

If you are in a budget and want 2-2.5” get someone’s factory XR springs and a set of shocks and some longer LCA from mopar. I did this with a Teraflex spacer upfront to level it out…whole thing was less than $300. I can’t speak for 37’s but I have a really decent amount of flex…I’m not competitive with extreme full suspension set ups but still pretty flexy

Jeep really did a great job on the JK/JL suspension geometry. It's waaaay more capable than past Jeep suspensions. With some aftermarket mods, it really surprises.

I was feeling inadequate with my 40s when this Jeep parked next to me in Moab this spring.

I agree with the recommendation for a Metalcloak 3 1/2" lift for your needs. My Jeep with the tiny 40s is on a Metalcloak 4 1/2" lift.
Pretty sure I saw a Trailmater recovery video of that same Jeep being towed off the trail. And pretty sure yours wasn’t. So there’s that.

If you're looking for a good combination of parts while keeping a budget in mind, you could run the Rancho Lift with Mopar's longer lower control arms to regain some caster. There are a few members here (including @wibornz) who have wheeled this setup and are very pleased.

We actually installed most of that kit a few weeks ago on my son's '20 JLUR. At the time, most of the online sources were out of the complete kits, so he got the simple setup which included everything but the shocks and then he ordered Rancho RS7MTs separately. He also sprung for new wheels and Cooper 37x12.50s. I've driven it a few times, and I'm impressed with how it rides. He is as well, and he commutes 60-70 miles a day with it.

If you aren't interested in a long arm suspension, a 3.5" Metalcloak mid arm is a good place to start. Among the most for travel and articulation.

You can keep the cost down by going with the Rocksport red shocks. They work very well and have incredible travel. The ride quality is great. They are limited for extended washboard or dips where they can fade from heat. But that's a corner case scenario for most of us.

You will need adequate wheel backspace to clear in the extreme limits of articulation. I've run 3.5" and 4.5" backspace with 37s. You can squeak by with 4.5" until you get extreme articulation and turn to the limits. Then you'll get interference and start damaging stuff. 3.5" backspace will clear in extreme conditions.
Any links you can send me so i know im looking at the correct things please :)

2.5-3.5” MetalCloak Gamechanger. Great lift. Reach out if you have questions. 👍🏽
The more i read the more im starting to think 3.5 to help future me from saying should have went bigger lol. Can you send me a link at what setup specifically. I start googling stuff and even tho i put name specifically, other things start popping up with it. And then i realize im looking at something else already. Thanx

Yeah definitely go for Metalcloack or Clayton because "damn it, should have spent a little more" lol. In all seriousness I’m really happy with what I have but I’d be lying if I said I’m good for the life of the Jeep. I didn’t have the money or the knowledge at the time. Now that I do I think it’s reasonable to spend $3500 on a good FULL suspension lift including adjustable upper and lower control arms, shocks, springs, the works.

I did Clayton 2.5 inch like 2 weeks ago, so far I am loving it. Haven't been off-road though.
Down the road when I "need" 3.5, I believe I can just buy the springs and sway bar end links.

The higher you go, the need for a Drive shaft increases
