Kevin of Lite Brite is running 42s on his JL 4 Dr with a race built 392 named "Step Child". He has done every mod a person can do for running 42s and to keep it reliable.

In the past, he has pretty much elaborated on all the mods he has done. You should try to reach out and see if he is willing to help.
I was checking motobilt "hooligan" build which has 71" wide axles and 4.5" BS wheels and running 42" with a 3.5" lift. I believe Lite Brite is not to Wide, but looks tall...

Niice. What axle width and wheel BS? Also that is rebel or evo coilovers setup? Thanks
69 wms with 3.5 backspacing.
Motobuilt coilover towers front and back. Rear is triangulated 4 link.
Front is 3 linked long arm. I built all the links and used 14 inch 2.5 kings. No bolt on parts on this build!

That is my main concern, wheel BackSpace. I just got this ones :( and here in Chile there is no Market for selling them... And getting another set from USA its to expensive.... Maybe Spacers is the way to go but I hate them..
Woah Chile?! When I was young we had a foreign exchange student sister from Chile. We still talk with her to this day. She's actually in Australia and thriving.

Its looks we are almost at the same width. Mine being 73" wide on 4.75" Backspace Wheels. Mine has a track width of 80.5" and yours 80" if I'm correct.. So I might be OK on 42"

Should be real close. Just know at full steering lock with the tire stuffed you will rub hard on the back of the fender well. You could probably trim som or limit up travel. I chose to stretch the front axle out 2.5 inches and have plenty of room now.

You can actually trim this section back and gain about 1.82”s of extra clearance as well. I know you already moved your axle forward but this would help for others.

I've heard that 1" is like the max you can push the axle forward before having issues with track bar and steering components, or not? Today I was doing some testings and with 40s my main issue by far is my front fender. Definitely need narrower fenders lol. Everything else looks great and with plenty of space. Also looks like my rear sway bar end links are way to long and limiting my rear flex..and also I bended one...

I also think that will be a good idea. I believe I have to be careful with the inner fenders mounting points

I cut a lot, on 43s now so I cut even more. 72” WMS and 3.5BS

if you’ve got a jack and stands, remove your springs and flex the axle with a jack, engine hoist, whatever. Rinse and repeat a million times until you’ve achieved what you want.

inner fenders are clean and desirable, but don’t be afraid to run without for now. I’ll likely have to make some someday, but I haven’t had issues not running them for over a year.

that said, I don’t do any highway driving or wet road driving as this thing only wheels or goes out on sunny days.

by the way, you’re definitely going to have issues with those fender chop brackets, so definitely get those MB fenders in conjunction with 42s

One of the reasons I want to get Mickeys instead of journeys or Maxxis is that they run to big and wide. I am pretty sure Mickeys are thiner and a bit smaller than Maxxis. Here we have a lot of mud so I will have to see what I will do with the inner fenders....I will get those MB fenders before getting those 42s.
Also If I remember you where running a 3.5" or smaller lift? I have 4.5" rock krawler springs which will help me a bit I believe... Also you were having a lot of troubles in the front end and thats what scary me the most.... But yes....definitely will need to remove springs and test. I've never done it but will try it haha. Thanks

3.5” lift which required creative solutions for uptravel in the front, for sure. and yeah, my tires are pretty wide compared to the Mickeys. My buddy has a set of 42 mickeys

By the end of the year I will be getting a set of 5. Since I have to import them to Chile I have to pay around 5k for all 5 :whew:! I could buy maxxis here that is half the price but they only have stickies and I daily drive my rig.
Also Lite Brite just respond me my instagram DM and she runs 72.5" axles on -20offset wheels....lol...
