I had leather in my Tacoma TRD Pro and it only caused heartache. From a leaky cooler, to the mud and tiny pebbles in my kids’ shoes.

This cloth feels more durable, I wouldn’t feel bad about covering it, it’s easier to clean, and you can still get heated seats with it. Hands-down winner.

It should also be noted the Sahara Cloth is an upgraded cloth

No, the factory leather I have had twice in JK's. Its terrible quality vs the standard leather in a Laramie Ram pickup and not even in the same world of quality vs the leather in my Limited Ram or High Altitude GC. Save your money and get a good upholstery shop to do high quality leather for you.

i have standard cloth in my rubicon. they are probably the most comfortable seats i've sat in.
i had a vw tdi highline sportwagen with heated leather, very uncomfortable.

i am quite happy with the cloth in the rubi and not at all disappointed for not getting leather.

besides, catzkin leather is a good option if i ever want to go that route.

FCA's leather seats are extremely comfortable. Would never go back to cloth.

Like many have suggested here, do not waste your $$$ on factory Leather especially in the Sahara (since it has upgraded cloth anyway), try the cloth and if you do not like it buy the Skinz same cost anyway.

You can buy the katzkin leather but you wont get the "leather" trimmed steering wheel, dash panels, shifter, brake, and door panels. Oh, and the gap filler.

Ordered my Rubicon with cloth. Waiting for it to come in. Saw the leather in person and don't think it's good quality. Currently have a BMW and it's cold in winter and burning hot in summer. I will try cloth this time around.

I have cloth seats and leather Steering wheel, shifter, Brake, and door panels. I only do not have the leather dash and back seat rest/drink holder (no one rides in back anyway except the dog). I would say if you are a mall crawler and keeping the top on get the factory leather. I like the fact you can customize the Katzkinz and make it your own if I decide to add leather

Ah, well on the Rubicon, you miss out on all of that.

I prefer the cloth. I have a Rubicon and would pass on the factory leather every time, because I think the leather used for the seats is low quality compared to my other vehicles which is an Audi and BMW, so to me it just feels and looks cheap. Plus the cloth will last so much longer without the aging and the maintenance of the leather.

The leather is very comfortable and looks to be pretty good quality. It doesn't get much easier then cleaning leather. Nothing against cloth but I'm glad I got the leather.
