FWIW - I usually put the soft top in sunrider mode when parked - I don't want bird droppings on my seats. I also keep a couple of beach towels to cover any areas that might get blasted by the sun

The soft top's Sunrider mode exposes both rows of seats to the open sky.

Just ordered a 392 Moab for my wife. I’m a top down all Summer long in Florida Jeep guy. How bad am I going to hate the black leather? She has had cars with both good and bad leather. The bad one held the heat in forever. The good one was white and perforated. Any of you current leather seat owners have any input or suggestions? I would look to swap with someone who has cloth, if it was mine but she’s fine with leather.

I had Bartact seat covers over my leather seats in my JK. Tough as nails and snug fit. Made with good grade canvas. Made it possible to get into the seats on hot California days.

Thanks for the link. Canvas sounds better than cow vinyl in the Summer
