Anyone who bought a 2018 Wrangler JL Sport with Keyless Enter n' Go needs to call the Federal Trade Commission to file a complaint at 202-326-2222. You will also need to file an arbitration claim at www.ncdsusa.com.
What part of "Power Door Locks if Equipped" do you not understand?

I am planning to purchase a Sport with manual locks also. I’ve done plenty of research to know Keyless Enter n Go passive entry is not standard regardless of what the sticker states. With that said, those who did little to no research might have read the window sticker and believed it was standard. I think even some of the sales people were fooled also. You see a fob with no lock/unlock buttons and no key blade, a push button start and that might help the misconception that it actually has passive entry.

That's the thing, the keyblade is in the FOB, as is common practice nowdays. From the VWs that kicked that trend off to the F-150s that are EVERYWHERE, there are lots of vehicles that have the keyblade pop out of the FOB.

Thanks for the update, looks like it is www.ncdsusa.org. What have you found out and what is the expected result from filing a complaint?

you don't need to be a troll about this. These people want what was on their sticker. I agree with what they say, even though I have power locks I am in full support of these other members. Jeep messed up and they also proved it by admitting to it and changing the new window sticker to reflect to say "kelyess go"
I'd hardly call correcting a typo proving any real fault on Jeep's side. There was no active deception nor was there any extra money charged for an option that was withheld. This is just an attempt at creating and exploiting a legal loophole. Jeep correcting to Keyless go merely closes that loop.

That would be the same as agreeing to pay 38k for your Jeep and giving them a check for 34k and saying. Sorry about what my agreement said, it was a typo, I meant to say I only wanted to pay 34k
nope, not in the least. Paying 34k for a 34k vehicle, that had a poorly worded item. wording was changed, vehicle remains 34k.

I don't know what to say to this. You make no sense. I'll move on because it looks like you learned how to troll people too.

Let me explain further... A loophole is an ambiguity or inadequacy in a system, such as a law or security, which can be used to circumvent or otherwise avoid the purpose, implied or explicitly stated, of the system. Trying to create this loophole is almost like climbing into a window that was accidentally left open into someones else's house and using the fact that "I didn't break in" to avoid Breaking and Entering charges.

He's trying to play a word game to his benefit, despite no wrongdoing on Jeep's part. He was not charged for Remote Keyless entry nor Proximity entry. The window sticker even explicitly states manual door locks (a fact he contiues to ignore) and when this was pointed out, Jeep fixed the issue. No harm, no foul, except on OPs part.

I am no troll, and calling me names will not change the facts of the matter here.

What I'm saying is he thought he was getting keyless entry. Jeep screwed up and they should either add keyless entry or buy the vehicle back and allow them to purchase the sport S that comes with keyless entry.

Also I'm not calling you names, your acting like a troll. If I called you a "sensitive sally", then I would be calling you names... There is a difference

Since when is disagreeing with someone's attempt at gaming the system acting like a troll? If he wants a vehicle with power door locks he has every right to trade in his vehicle and purchase one that has power door locks. Trying to get a free upgrade to power door locks is the wrong answer in this situation. He should have noticed the obvious lack of any sort of keyless entry mechanism on his test drive, and while looking at the window sticker he should have also noted the obvious conflict of standard features of "Keyless Enter N Go" and "Manual Door Locks" as stated on the window sticker.

make sure you know what you are talking about....some dealers, specifically mine, went along on the test drive and never gave me a key, the Jeep was pulled up and door was open....they had the key the entire time...I'm pretty sure this was their situation as well, if you read the actual post vs coming to the end just to troll and not really try to be of any help.
So you'll note then, that I have made many entries into this thread spreading throughout several pages and not someone coming to the end to troll. I have continually voiced my opposition in here for quite some time.

When I took my Jeep on the test drive, my sales rep handed me the key, allowed me to inspect the vehicle and take it on a test drive at my leisure, without him being present. I had full possession of the key and did a thorough check for any major discrepancies, as anyone buying a brand new vehicle should do. It sounds like your issue should be with the dealer you went through and their sales practices, rather than Jeep itself.

Really waiting to see how Jeep handles this with the OP because I doubt Jeep can add Keyless Enter n Go to the Sport. Will they allow him to return the vehicle for a full refund? That’s probably the easiest solution. Then OP can upgrade to Sport S or higher trim level if desired. Jeep can wash their hands and both parties are made whole again. I mean how many people out there are making this complaint? Probably just a handful.

For the guys that are bashing the OP, how would you handle it if LED headlights were listed as standard equipment then later you realized they are halogen? Would you ask for LED headlights as listed on the window sticker? I would. Would you just suck it up and blame yourself for not thoroughly inspecting the vehicle during delivery?
