Does anyone else have an issue locking the doors with the keyless-go feature? It works properly probably 80% of the time, but the other 20% it will make a noise in the door, but doesn’t actually lock. Most of the time, I catch it and hit it once or twice more and it actually locks. However, I can’t tell you how many time I hit the button, hear a noise and walk away, yet when I come back to the car, it isn’t locked.
I had the same issue on a previous GC also. Noise, lights flash, but doesn’t actually lock.
Just curious if anyone else is having the same issue bc it seems like a system issue since I’ve had it on two different Jeep vehicles.

I'm assuming you are just using a finger and not grabbing the handle, grabbing the handle and pressing the button would confuse the system.

You can confirm it's locked by trying to open the backdoors

Hi TowDawg,
If you believe your vehicle is not operating as designed, we recommend visiting your dealer to have them address this. If you would like any additional assistance throughout this process, please send our team a private message!

Do you have the Proximity key? In that case, every time you walk back and pull the handle, the car will automatically unlock if it senses the key nearby. That's the idea.

Lock it, put your key down far away, and check it without the proximity key nearby.
