How many times must I say this. When I say Manual door locks, I am also but not directly saying, No Flippin Power locks at all. There is no distinction between, "Interior" and "Exterior" locks, one door has one lock. If its power, its power, if its manual, its manual.
How many times must I say this? ALL JLs have manual interior door locks regardless of whether they also have power interior locks or not. That doesn't have any bearing whatsoever on the point of this discussion, which is that FCA has a misprint on the window stickers relating to an EXTERIOR door entry feature.

Update: Keyless Enter n' Go will be removed from all future stickers. They are getting so many complaints it is now at corporate review level so that everyone will get the same resolution. I will keep everyone posted!
As I posted earlier in this thread, the change has apparently already happened. I saw one with the updated Monroney information at the dealership last Saturday.

YES! All doors have the rocker type door lock lever, regardless if the single lock in that door is power or manual. It has everything to do with this discussion as if you have MANUAL DOOR LOCKS as standard on your window sticker, you will obviously not have remote proximity entry equipped on your base sport Wrangler. How dense are you?

I was gonna say... wow... You buy a Jeep with manual, non-electric, outside/ inside door locks (i.e. a person has to either insert a key into a keyhole and turn when outside the vehicle or use their finger and slide a lever when inside... all powered by a human) then expect a your magical key fob to unlock your door without anything? You do know that even if you do have PASSIVE ENTRY, you have to touch the door handle, right?

But, my curiosity has gotten the best of me... so I'm going to watch this thread and see what our friend tdog comes up with.

For the record:

JLU Sport S with power windows and doors locks, NO PASSIVE ENTRY, push button start, manual transmission.

the whole point is the Window Sticker says "Keyless Entry 'n' Go., remember Keyless Go is a stand alone feature which is the push button start. Jeep already started fixing the new Window Sticker to say Keyless Go, jeep messed up the Window Sticker and needs to make this right for those who are affected by this.

I am the woman with 4 kids that purchased a sport thinking it had keyless entry.I gave up my SUV for this JL because I wanted something fun, something that allowed me to spend more time with my spouse and it seemed like a great way to do it as the Sport wasn't giving up much compared to my SUV.

What lead me to think the Sport would have Keyless entry when it has manual windows?
  • The window sticker said it had Keyless Enter-N-Go
  • During the test drive and showing of the Jeep I was never once handed the key.
  • The doors were all unlocked when I went to view it.
  • I was given the key AFTER I paid for the Jeep.
I did not discover the Jeep didn't have this feature until I tried to lock the doors, which wasn't right away because I park in the garage and rarely go anywhere. I was just going to deal with it for now and add it later. It wasn't until I saw this post that I decided to look into it and see what, if anything, Jeep could do. I haven't owned a Jeep since I was a teen and even then it was a Cherokee so no, I don't know all base models have manual locks. This Jeep had bluetooth, backup camera and push start so I wouldn't have guessed keyless entry to be so outside of the box for the Sport. When I spoke to Jeep (to which I did record the call) they stated that Keyless entry-n-go is unlocking the doors with the push of a button on the fob. Awesome, except my key has no buttons for unlocking or locking. Its a physical key that must go into the lock to unlock the doors. They didn't understand this as my VIN pulled up the info saying I had keyless entry. This is why I was sent to the dealer, they did not think I knew how to use it. I knew I didn't have it, I even tried to explain that I didn't have it. They still said that I should have it and it must not be working.

Monday rolls around and I go to the dealership as Jeep asked me to, they also find no keyless entry but all agree that it should be there as the window sticker and my VIN show it to be standard on my particular model. The Service Manager even pulled up information from Chrysler, separate from my specific vehicle, and found it too to have Keyless Entry listed. After an hour and over a dozen people coming to look at it they finally decided to do something. Now its Friday and he informed me that they've sent the information to Chrysler VP to be reviewed and determine an outcome. I'll update when I get more on that but clearly I'm not alone in thinking it would have what was specified.

I'm not pushing for anything more than what I purchased. I understand it would be difficult and unreasonable to install factory keyless entry on my specific Jeep but I'd at least like Jeep to realize this mistake so others like me don't run into this same issue. I'm a stay at home mom with zero Wrangler experience and limited automotive experience so I thought I'd get what it said I was going to get on the window sticker. I'm not asking for proximity entry, I know that's different from keyless entry and that's not what my sticker says anyways so why bother asking for that? Great if they wanna add it but I can do without that.
Have you heard back from your dealer?

But make it right how? It was incorrect on the sticker, but it was listed as a standard feature, so they are not out any extra money. In my state, part of the huge stack of paperwork that you have to sign when purchasing a new vehicle says that you have an understanding of the vehicle and it’s features. If people signed that, it seems like they are saying they thoroughly checked the vehicle out. Have a feeling if they signed something like that, the argument is over. I don’t have a dog in this hunt since I bought a Rubi, just watching out of curiosity.

There is a federal law that says whats on the window sticker must be on the vehicle! We are just waiting for an answer from Jeep! Since this is a federal law that paperwork from your state is irrelevant!

I’ll just say you might get a few oil changes out of it. I don’t see them upgrading you to power locks or anything. Since no money was involved, and I doubt you can prove “deliberate “ deception, I wouldn’t expect much. Good luck to you.

Having read this law, I really don't see how you can use this as leverage to make Jeep do whatever it is you're wanting them to bend over backwards for. "Keyless Enter n go" vs "Keyless Go" being a typo in whatever automated system that generates the Monroney stickers will probably get you something like a Letter of Apology at the most.

Anyone who bought a 2018 Wrangler JL Sport with Keyless Enter n' Go needs to call the Federal Trade Commission to file a complaint at 202-326-2222. You will also need to file an arbitration claim at www.ncdsusa.org.
