RELEVENT! It says MANUAL Door Locks! right on the window sticker... Standard Equipment (unless replaced by optional equipment) You've paid for manual door locks and not the proximity entry.
I paid for Keyless Enter n’ Go and I cannot Keyless Enter, it’s simple!

Yes, ALL Jeeps have manual door locks, on the interior.

This discussion is about the exterior locks. Entering the vehicle. Separate item.

yes, the MANUAL DOOR LOCKS that are standard equipment. there is no difference between interior or exterior door locks. If you purchace the power door locks they will be power locks regardless of if you are inside or outside of the vehicle. Just because there is also a manual operating lever on the inside of the door in addition to the power switch doesn't mean that is what a manual door lock is.

And how are you making out with getting it fixed? Been weeks now with your post that you were going to have them make it right.

you paid for the standard manual door locks on a vehicle that has a push button start that is also standard.

Ladies and gents, if you bought a Sport, the sticker clearly states: STANDARD EQUIPMENT (UNLESS REPLACED BY OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT).

And the sticker further states: Manual Door Locks and Full Metal Doors with Roll-up Windows.

I get it that the Keyless Enter 'n Go feature listed as standard is, whether intentional or negligent, misleading and confusing. But by the same token, Passive Entry is listed as an option if the vehicle is so equipped; ditto for power door locks.

Those of you who have dollar signs in your eyes over a potential lawsuit are picking seeds out of cowpies. Get over it.

All we want is what is stated, to be able to Keylessly Enter the vehicle.

I agree with the proximity entry as nowhere does it say that on the window sticker... But let's say you know absolutely nothing about Jeeps, and see this lovely sport that you can afford on Jeeps website and order it thinking hey I can live with manual windows but "keyless entry n go" is a nice feature and almost a necessity if you constantly have occupants in the rear seats(pushing the button on the key fob to lock/unlock the doors, not proximity.) Well after the two month wait, you'r so happy that you don't even look for that feature when you go pick it up because the dealer had already unlocked the doors for you. Do you just live with Jeeps misprint, or order another one and wait two months while not having a vehicle since you traded yours in?

I ordered my Rubicon with proximity entry and a lot of the bells and whistles. For my wife on the other hand we purchased a Sport since she didn't care for all the bells and whistles, and we weren't planning(financially, I don't like long term financing) to purchase two new vehicles at the same time. She just happened to be bit by the "Jeep Bug." She had no clue that the sport models came with manual windows, but she loved the red 6spd when she drove it, and there were no Sport S models with a 6spd. She said she could live with the manual windows bc with 4 younger kids she rarely opens them. She didn't realize until we got home that she would have to manually lock & unlock all the doors/trunk Everytime she uses them.
If Jeep doesn't do anything about this(doubt they will even though it is clearly a misprint) I will add an aftermarket central door lock system for her in the near future to make her life easier.
My bad. I didn't read far back enough to see that wifey actually did have to put the key in the lock to open it. That's different than being inconvenienced by having to actually press a button on one's remote. (really, not being sarcastic.) You have a beef. Litigatable? maybe not, but a beef nonetheless.

Their (sic) are laws about stickers on vehicles. This isn't symantics (sic). It's an FCA term for a particular functionality. It could be argued that terms like stow n go and keyless enter n go sell more vehicles as a result of the expectations associated with this marketing.
Actually, it's just poorly chosen marketing lingo on FCA's part. Plain, accurately descriptive English, such as keyless ignition or pushbutton ignition, would have been better than the cutesy marketing phrase.

On the other hand, Manual Door Locks is right there on the sticker as plain as the nose on your face.

Can you sue them? Hell yes, you can sue anybody for just about anything. However, you'll probably get better results by pissing in the wind. :)

I think mistakes are made on both sides. Poorly worded on window sticker, poor judgment to expect manual locks to do anything except operate manually.

I have a base sport JLU - love the manual locks. Nothing like being able to lock yourself out of your Wrangler with the key sitting in the cup holders! Yes, already did it once but luckily the rear "windows" were off so I just climbed in the back!!!! Problem solved.
