"Keyless". They will be easily able to defend the position that "key" is the metal toothed part hidden inside the remote, and that you don't need to stick that metal part inside the keyhole in the door to open the Jeep. They did not say it was "Remoteless Enter-n-Go". Give it up. No attorney worth hiring would take that case.

The problem is you need to stick the metal key in the keyhole to lock/unlock the doors. There are no buttons to unlock the doors on the Sport.
I agree it's not worth the attorney, but it's crappy for those that ordered it and expected it.
Jeep support on the phone was surprised they still sold a vehicle with manual windows/doors.

I have several non Jeep friends that are surprised when they want a base Jeep and I inform them that they will have to manually crank their windows. But hey they get Bluetooth, keyless go, and a backup camera....

it’s listed on the “mismarked” stickers as a standard feature. You’re not out any extra money, it wasn’t an option you were paying extra for. I’m sure there are disclaimers saying standard features can be changed.

Their are laws about stickers on vehicles. This isn't symantics. It's an FCA term for a particular functionality. It could be argued that terms like stow n go and keyless enter n go sell more vehicles as a result of the expectations associated with this marketing.

I get the point. I will say that i have had my Jeep for a week and i have locked the doors one time. So usually i just enter and go anyway.

I think people that truly expected a Jeep without power locks to unlock the door by itself should have waited for next years rumored Arabian edition. All you have to do is say “ open sesame “ and you’re in:like:

If you didn't even spring for power locks on your Jeep, why would you even expect to have a proximity entry feature?

I agree with the proximity entry as nowhere does it say that on the window sticker... But let's say you know absolutely nothing about Jeeps, and see this lovely sport that you can afford on Jeeps website and order it thinking hey I can live with manual windows but "keyless entry n go" is a nice feature and almost a necessity if you constantly have occupants in the rear seats(pushing the button on the key fob to lock/unlock the doors, not proximity.) Well after the two month wait, you'r so happy that you don't even look for that feature when you go pick it up because the dealer had already unlocked the doors for you. Do you just live with Jeeps misprint, or order another one and wait two months while not having a vehicle since you traded yours in?

I ordered my Rubicon with proximity entry and a lot of the bells and whistles. For my wife on the other hand we purchased a Sport since she didn't care for all the bells and whistles, and we weren't planning(financially, I don't like long term financing) to purchase two new vehicles at the same time. She just happened to be bit by the "Jeep Bug." She had no clue that the sport models came with manual windows, but she loved the red 6spd when she drove it, and there were no Sport S models with a 6spd. She said she could live with the manual windows bc with 4 younger kids she rarely opens them. She didn't realize until we got home that she would have to manually lock & unlock all the doors/trunk Everytime she uses them.
If Jeep doesn't do anything about this(doubt they will even though it is clearly a misprint) I will add an aftermarket central door lock system for her in the near future to make her life easier.

I've just looked at a window sticker for a Sport and it does specifically say manual door locks on the standard equipment list. Anyone that sees that and Keyless Enter and Go on the same list should at least ask a question about it. Anything else and you're just lacking any observation on the vehicle you're purchasing.

Just to reiterate what's already been hashed out in other threads, the problem is that "Keyless Enter-N-Go" is already a FCA patented term for a feature that allows you to never touch the key fob to enter the vehicle and go. They're listing this patented feature, by specific name, as standard equipment on the JL, when clearly it is not standard equipment on the JL. Hence, all the complaints that Jeep is receiving via social media, email, and letters.

I'm pi**ed off about it, but not to the point that I would sue. For those who do sue, the question is going to come down to whether or not the Monroney Sticker is a legally binding document.

I will repeat this again and make it simple. The manufacturer is responsible for everything shown on a window sticker. The sticker states KEYLESS ENTER. If you own a Sport there is no way to KEYLESS ENTER. Hence, they need to fix it!!

It is legally binding. 15 U.S. Code Section 1232

Irrelevant, you cannot Keyless Enter.
RELEVENT! It says MANUAL Door Locks! right on the window sticker... Standard Equipment (unless replaced by optional equipment) You've paid for manual door locks and not the proximity entry.
