Just put my 2nd tank in JLUR tonight. First tank (prob 80/20 city/hwy) Jeep showed about 16, real math was high 14. Today jeep said 15.6, real math was 15.3. That was about 90/10 mix. Curious to see if the computer calc gets/stays closer to the real math. It does seem as motor breaks in (500 miles now) it is getting a bit better. That is about 2 mpg better than my 07 JKUR but I can’t imagine it ever getting a real world 20 mpg. It’s all around better in every way but at the end of the day it is still a Jeep so it’s just a brick on wheels that can now comfortably do 70+ on the highway.

18.5 so far (250 miles) in mixed driving in my jlur 8speed. I find that not going much over 70 on the highway helps a lot. Did some city driving around rush hour and the ESS helped a lot there.

Not a rubi but Sport S manual in flat South Florida, I was averaging 16.4 mixed stock. It's now 2.5 inches higher with rubi take offs and I can't above 15.7. I've really tried because I don't understand how people are seeing such high MPG's but maybe it will increase in time, only have 600 on it now.

33" tires vs 31" tires so it is not a direct comparison.
Actually It’s 32” vs 33” tires. Direct enough.
I think the low hanging fruit of fuel economy has already been picked and now it takes a lot to try and squeeze out another 1mpg. It’s still pretty sad .

6000+ miles. 19.5 average on the dash.
I drive a lot of back roads with 55mph speed limits.

I'm at about 2000 miles on my JLUR. I am a big car guy and came from daily driving a stage 4 bmw m2 and so I have a pretty heavy foot. I get 14-15 mpg. It's worse than my M2 was but 4-5 mpg, but with the bigger tank for fewer refuellings and only needing 87, it's probably a wash. I certainly didn't buy it for its gas mileage. (nor any of my other cars)

Dealer sold me my 2018 RUBICON JLU with a full tank. I was at 310 miles when it hit EMPTY and said low miles. I then took my time and slowly filled it up. It took 22.5 Gallons. It looks like I’m going to get 350+ miles on this second full tank. My guess is if I take the risk and drive 25 more miles after it says “LOW MILES”, I will get 375+ miles. That would put me at 16.67 MPG. I drive around town 25-50 MPH.

I was driving I-45 between Dallas and Houston this week and had the MPG display up. I had cruise control on at 78 MPH. On an extended flat section, the real-time MPG was pegged at 16 (no decimal on that display.) I just happened to tuck in behind a semi and draft while still at 78 and the MPG jumped to 20. Both readings were steady for an extended period. It was an eye opener to think that MPG jumped 25% when I was able to draft. Too bad it felt like the semi was spewing rocks and pebbles and trying to crack my windshield!

JLUR average MPG with freeway and city is 16.2 with 35” cooper stt pros. Have had these on for over a week now. Was averaging 17.2 before with stock rims and tires. Have also had flashing done to correct for tire size change. Big smile on my face every time I get to drive it:like:

Set cruise at 70 and you'll get 4-5mpg better. By shifting my highway speed down 5mph my average is up to 19mpg in only around 70 more miles (still the first tank of gas!). I think 20mpg average is realistic driving normally but with highway speed limited to 70-71. I know some people can't stomach driving that slowly, but it's like a 15-20% improvement in highway mileage. For my commute that equates to roughly 2 extra minutes, which I can easily handle especially as traffic causes more variation than that. Going close to 80 kills the mileage.

I need some Help, I think something is definitely wrong with the car or th3 way my wife drives it, mostly in the city and we’re averaging 13.8 wtf. Anyone else having the same average in the city. Another thing I notice is that the car as were driving steady the rpm are revved up like around 3500 at a steady speed.

I assume it is automatic. Yes, something definitely wrong. Like you are stuck in 3-4 gear. Shift manually to see if you can get to 8 gear and the rpm should drop dramatically
