My 12.5s just barely rubbed at max turn (but only in one direction). I think 13.5s would probably be fine most of the time but could benefit from spacers on stock wheels.
Thx! Went with the method standards ... will probably add the rock rings from Motobilt and do them in a maroon color for some added protection/visual pop.
Actually 37s. No lift yet. I currently have cooper st maxx as I picked them up used for a great price to see how I would like 37s. Ultimately I will probably switch to the stt pros as they looked great on the stock rims but took on more of the mall crawler AT tire look when I put on the new...
If you do a search you will see a number of posts from early 2018. Basically if you put the top down it will break off because it sits right in it. Mine is broken from the summer. Havenāt seen any posts about it in a long time though.
I will qualify this with sharing I currently and have always had the black on white not white in white. However I think if u keep stock wheels and ensure you keep the protective film on the colored fenders in good shape you are probably ok. Of you change wheels where the tires start to stick...
I have an S8+ and plug/unplug at will from a full blown CarPlay perspective and Bluetooth syncs fine from a phone call w/o cable perspective. Never had an issue since day 1 (end of May) with it. Sounds like yours may not like your phone or may have actual issues with the head unit .... ???
I bought the hinge protectors and will say that the time / cuss words saved vs trying to cut it myself was worth every $. I donāt have the body color fenders, but he uses top quality material and vs a repaint is cheap. Value is always relative ... in my other pocket emptier hobby some people...
Cooper st maxx 37x12.5x17 on method standards. Currently running no lift. Not dissatisfied at all with them but the extra 1.5in width on the new rims flattened the sides out quite a bit so lost some of the ālookā they had so contemplating a switch to the stt pros once I get some of the other...
I am running 37s with no lift. I put the front inners in a couple months ago and had an occasional light rub at full left. I was running those 37s on the stock wheels with no spacers though. I just got my new wheels this weekend and with the backspacing pushing the wheels out just a bit there...
Yes, paint protection film for body color fenders. If you need to replace it r3offroad.com sells precut film to save you the time of trying to do it yourself.
Got the new wheels installed today (17x9 Method Standards). The extra rim width really changed the look of the tires ... more squared off and mall crawlerish They looked good on the stock rims but I think just ok on the new ones. Thinking I will end up switching from st maxx to stt pro before...
Running 37s on stock wheels no lift. Very infrequent steering rub at full left lock, but I do have aluminum inner fenders. An occasional rub on the rear fender/bumper spacers, but fixable if I would just take them out. DD is fine. You couldnāt do more than go over a curb from a flex...
I think Tritonman meant if the middle has more chalk on that second part, but Iām running 30-32 on my 37in cooper ST Maxx. Sidewall rating (d/e) can make a big difference. I could drop my 35 cooper pros on my jk down to mid 20s and not get even wear (e rated) but these (d) seem pretty good at...
Iām running 37s (12.5) with no lift on stock wheels. Steering rub happens rarely and only turning full lock left when it does. Rears hit the plastic spacer between fender and bumper occasionally but Iām too lazy to take them out right now. I couldnāt wheel it right now now without the flex...
Got my Method Standards delivered from my Black Friday shopping spree. Now to just find to get them installed! Also think I am going to bite on this new front bumper option. I personally like the āsilverā look vs all the black wheels, bumpers, etc that everyone is running these days. Here is...
