JL Windshield Sunshade

Today, I received the one from Amazon I posted earlier. It is made of the same materials that the others I've bought in the past were made of. These lasted years of daily use and I fully expect this one to be no different. Craftmanship is excellent with no missed stitching and the velco is of high quality. It fits perfectly in position with little to no visible gaps. Just what I ordered!

I checked out your link to Amazon on the previous page but it links to a generic page. I would love to check this shade out but cannot find it. Can you repost the link please?

Thanks to @se7en , I got this one a month or so ago. Real decent offering. For the record, the cutout for the rear view mirror as in the ad is not on the unit that ships to you.

The one shipped looks just like this:

I got this one for $15 off amazon. It fits absolutely perfectly in the gap around the windshield.

I was looking at this one, was going to order but the link says XS and both you and the questions on amazon say to order XXS.
Did you get the one in your link (XS) or another one thats actually XXS?

it looks like the one i recently picked off on Amazon... The XS fits with just a little scrunchiness in the center, but covers the entire windshield. I didn't see this one in XXS, but in the image it appears to be a tighter fit in between the round ends.

Looks like JP20 is for a Renegade. Waiting to hear back from the company before I send it in to be exchanged.

I ordered at that same link on 5/23/2018 and received the one as pictured below. Not sure why they sent you the one you received..
I just checked the link and it says I ordered same on 5/23...

Autoheatshield/Protrim responded already: They are recalling the JP22 inventory currently on Amazon to review and correct as needed. Stated that I will be sent the correct JP22 sunshade factory direct early next week. Indicated to keep/do what I want with the JP20 received today.

Fingers crossed the correct sunshade will be sent out this time.

@se7en - Have no received the replacement yet. Hope for it to arrive tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. My understanding is the inventory now on Amazon is factory direct from Autoheatshield. That's way the Prime shipping went away (for now). When I ordered it was sold by Autoheatshield but shipped from Amazon.

Ahhh, Amazon must have went out of stock, then. You would think they would have notified the vendor about low stock...and maybe they did. I guess Autohestshield is selling these pretty fast if they couldn't restock fast enough. Just an excellent, quality, inexpensive and easy to use shield.

No - Autoheatshield purposely recalled the stock that was at Amazon to fix what may have been miss-labeled (like the sunshade that I received). I would guess that when this is all sorted out that the Amazon stock and Prime shipping will be back.

That’s definitely not anything specific for a JL... still shows a rear-view cutout ...

Generic photo yes, but it is specific to the JL. The ad has this comment...

• IMPORTANT NOTE: This sunshade is for the Wrangler with the JL Body Style. The rearview mirror in a Wrangler JL attaches to the molding above the windshield.

It is also overpriced but that's the perk for being one of the first to market. Similar style sunshades are only 8 to 12 dollars.
