Being without the cutout would have been better for the JL but it sure looks nice and very well made, also guessing you just got the windows tinted with that sticky tape on the windows controller, did you perhaps get it done at Tint World ?

Just got the tint installed this morning. Didn’t get at Tint World. What a huge difference tint makes!

So what % did you get, I went with 30 in the back due to the privacy glass and 20 up front and the blend is pretty close.

Can you give me the Amazon URL for this shade. The one you pictured had a small slit in the top. This looks good.
Thanks
Mike

I went 25% up front in order to be legal in Texas and 5% on everything else. It helps keep it cooler in hot the Texas summer. Also makes it harder for thieves to see anything you might have inside.

Just got my covercraft in today. Took pics and everything. Came to this thread to post them. Only to find out that I was beat to it.

Ah well, I'll post em anyways. I don't have my jeep though.

Just received my covercraft sunshade today. As expected, this thing is made really well. In my opinion, it’s the best sunshade on the market. You get what you pay for!

I was a little disappointed when I opened the box because of the dip at the top. I was hoping that it go straight across for 100% blockage.

After installing, I realized they had to cut the dip in the shade so it would fit. The rear view mirror gets in the way and requires the dip. I even have my rear view mirror flipped so that it’s raised a little.

You’ll see in one of my pictures I flipped the sunshade upside down to the flat side. I tried to install but the rear view mirror gets in the way.

Hope this helps you guys out.

Thanks for sharing. I don't mind the gap, looks like the perfect size to no interfere with a dashcam under the mirror.

They are real nice, and in this Texas triple digit heat, you need all that you can get!

The CoverCraft's are nice, but I'll keep mine. To me, it does the same job, only it rolls instead of folds.

I'm a covercraft fan, as I have them in my other vehicles, but I don't like the cutout... I want it all covered.

Having swapped my old silver folding Autozone bubble with the Covercraft back to back and held my hand next to them (subjective, I know), I'd say "same job" is inaccurate. It's noticeable in this heat. However any shade is better than none.

For me, the main purpose of why I am using a wind shield sunshade is to protect my dash board from getting direct sunlight and having it be prone to early cracking. The one that I purchased from Amazon provides that functionality for me.
