You might want to fact check yourself... I thought so too, but its been hashed in several Tire PSI threads, not as much difference as you would think when considering the total weight of the vehicle. It varies depending upon equipment, but I would guess a good average would be 300lbs.
You're overestimating how much it takes to PIT someone. It doesn't take much. Watch the vehicle who inadvertently pitted this Gladiator. It barely even budged but the Gladiator went spinning. In lateral traction, Steering wheels > fixed wheels.

No doubt, but I was only speaking to the actual weight...
replying to this:
Most of the Gladiator's weight is over the front wheels
not the energy it takes to pit someone. Plus technique has a lot to do with it.

I'll check the video out when I get time, a good pit video is always fun to watch, thanks.

As long as it’s not angry grill apparently.
Me and Angry Betty wave at any one in the community.

Would you Wranglers Jeep wave gladiators at all?
I do it all the time.

There's a guy I see a fair bit here in Anna TX who drives a white Gladiator, and we always Jeep wave at each other.

If you want to be technical, it's a JEEP WAVE, not a Wrangler Wave.

Honestly with so many inner-city folks (You know, those people... The ones who've lived their whole lives in a congested city, where your only survival is ignoring the person standing beside you) here in North Texas now, I don't differentiate between what kind of Jeep you have, I'm just happy if you wave.

I mean, I had a Renegade wave at me the other day, and I gave one back. Yesterday, entering the community I live in, I had a dude in a semi give me a Jeep Wave, I gave him one back too.

It's still a Wrangler in my opinion, just a truck version. My way of looking at it, with any Jeep, is if they wave, I'll prob wave back, if I'm not other wise distracted. I don't drive around on point looking for Jeeps to wave at.
I don't know, I'm pretty focused on what's around me when I'm driving.

Maybe that's why there's so many accidents in Texas. People aren't looking that far ahead of them or behind them to see who's around them. :CWL:

I don't believe in waving to someone just because they have a similar vehicle or sharing cheap plastic toys. Yet a while back a small kid came up to me at the gas station to offer me a duck and I declined. The look on his face made me feel like a tool, and from then on I always smile and say thank you. And whenever someone waves at me, I wave back--regardless of vehicle.

On the trail, it's different. I'll always wave at other Wranglers, flat fenders, Gladiators, Broncos, Scouts, UTV, dirt bikes, MTB, horses, and hikers. Those are my people.
Dear Lord ??‍♀ I was sitting in my Jeep today at Walmart and a middle aged lady touched my handle and when I looked up she was wiggling a little duck and I thought she was a nut. I just shook my head no thinking she was a nut or trying to sell something, I never heard of the duck thing. She just shrugged and walked away. Yeah, now I feel like a heel. Oh well ??‍♀ Live and learn.

I got stuck so well once the two Jeeps that came to the rescue couldn’t get me out. A FJ 40 saw us struggling and came to help, successfully. I am not too good to wave at a Toyota, or anyone else that waves to me. ?

I drive a 2-door. That's an extra 52"! Well into the "run them off the road on sight because I'm a WAY cooler Jeeper" zone! ?
Go ahead and try that pit maneuver, it's always the little guys who say size doesn't matter (or their wives to make them feel better), until they find out it does..

Growing up in rural farm country in North Florida my uncle always waved to everyone. It was a small and friendly town, everyone waved back. Now I live in Central Florida and there are just too many cars to wave to everyone. So, I try and pass on my uncle’s sentiment a wave to all Wranglers and Gladiators, even with that limitation, it’s still a lot. I like to think I make peoples day a little brighter and I can’t ever find fault with that.

With ducks, I don’t duck a lot. I get at least one a month. I leave the two or three that I like the most on my dash, the rest go in a bag behind my passenger seat. I have ducked other jeeps, but on rare occasion. What I do most often is when a little kid goes by my Jeep and points at the ducks, I always ask their parent if they want a duck, if the parent agrees then I let the kid pick a duck from my bag of ducks. I find this small gesture puts a big smile on both kid and parent’s face.

Random acts of kindness, whether waving at others or passing out ducks to kids, makes this world just a bit easier to stomach, and I like that.

Hey, I dig the wave. I’m capt Happy out there, I’ve had a couple of older Vettes, & I ride a motorcycle, where the wave is unanimous. So I’ll wave at Jeeps, no matter if it TJ JT JL JK, XJ, so what. Sometimes on my bicycle I wave, forgetting I’m on my bike. I still get a wave back. In this F’D up world, if a smile gets someone else to smile, that’s a win. Period. Rock the wave!???? Happy Easter to all….

Riding Harleys since 73, some riders are the ultimate snobs. I have even gotten grief like “hey- yer buddies are down there, Bah ha ha “ for waving back to imports, uh, like the Triumph I rode before I could afford the Harley. I Ain’t too good to be polite and return a wave. ?‍♂ ?
