I give them the wave when I see them coming.
Then as I approach I see that hideously long truck bed and disgusted, I flip them the bird.
Then I pull my parking brake, yank the wheel and spin around in a cloud of tire smoke.
I floor it and PIT that sick bastard into a tree or ditch like they deserve.

...Happy?

Oh, wait. I forgot, I'm not a douchebag or a psychopath.
I only wave and don't think anything of it, like a normal human being.
Yeah, that extra 30" is a killer ?

I have both, and even though I find the wave annoying at times I do it and get just as many wave backs from Gladiators and Wranglers. What I find strange is there more hate towards the gladiator on wrangler forums then there are on Tacoma forums.
Agreed
(not sure about the Taco forum, never been there)
But when on the Gladiator forum, I haven't seen the same type of hate towards Wranglers there either ?

Why the hate... ? Hell, I had the hardest time deciding between the Gladiator and the J?/4D. Deciding factor, my daily driven truck is a 2002 and I knew the Gladiator would better close the gap than a Wrangler would when it kicks it.

That being said, once the Gladiator is paid off, I see a JL/2D in my future... unless I'm forced to buy electric... then I would consider something else.

I’ve noticed that too but I’ve gotten to the point that I just throw the wave and keep going…a lot of times I don’t even look to see if they responded ??‍♀
Avoid waving at the stock vers.... save your waves for the modified Gladiators, I bet you will get a wave back. Or atleast, I do.

im not sure a 2 door could run a motorcycle off the road, let alone a 5000lb truck.
Sure you can. Most of the Gladiator's weight is over the front wheels and you use that weight against them. They'll have to load the bed with a lot of weight to prevent that.

I don't believe in waving to someone just because they have a similar vehicle or sharing cheap plastic toys. Yet a while back a small kid came up to me at the gas station to offer me a duck and I declined. The look on his face made me feel like a tool, and from then on I always smile and say thank you. And whenever someone waves at me, I wave back--regardless of vehicle.

On the trail, it's different. I'll always wave at other Wranglers, flat fenders, Gladiators, Broncos, Scouts, UTV, dirt bikes, MTB, horses, and hikers. Those are my people.

You might want to fact check yourself... I thought so too, but its been hashed in several Tire PSI threads, not as much difference as you would think when considering the total weight of the vehicle. It varies depending upon equipment, but I would guess a good average would be 300lbs.
