"(1). “Jeepers”. These are the folks who buy and drive their Jeeps pretty much daily. They’re not too interested in off-road, but like the high seating, maneuverability, and “convertible” aspects of the mark. Their rigs are basically stock, with a few extra dress up parts. You’ll find them in town, on the beach, or cruising country lanes. Usually the Jeep will be opened up in warm weather and they’ll have a big smile on their faces. Their Jeeps are usually pristine."

^^^ this one describes me most closely.

I have lifted my Jeep and mounted 35s, but I prefer to retain the factory look as much as possible. And I rarely remove the top or the doors.

I used to wheel my Jeeps a lot harder, but between them now costing an arm and a leg, and moving away from California's diversity of trails, these days I am content taking my Jeep up to the mountains, on forest roads and into the snow.

I would add one feature I love about Jeeps: how they drive. I totally dig that command-of-the-terrain feel that the QuadraCoil suspension gives Jeeps.

And yes, I have been accused of my Jeep being pristine...

I'm with aldo98229. Love that ride and I have purposely limited the buildup to allow me to follow those narrow tight forest trails that force you to fold the mirrors in. If I was running bigger tires and a taller lift I wouldn't fit on those trails. Plenty of challenges there, too.

Mountains, forest roads, snow, and more. I'm always glad to see how well the Jeep shines up after a good trip. I do run both tops but haven't bothered removing the doors yet even after almost 4 years of ownership. It will happen. Just because I can.

The potential to do more is always there and I'm glad others explore that potential. I'm happy that I get to drive my Jeep every day in all four seasons. So maybe I'm a flirty 2? Good times!

I agree with your assessment. And...didn't take it personally.

I don't track my GT3 either - I'm a disappointment across the board on the respective forums, but I'm the guy you want to buy a used vehicle from. :)
If you bought an expensive mountain bike would you only ride it around the kids playground?.

Sure it is a "60k vehicle" mine's like 40k tho. But it is insured.

My mountain bike might only be a couple thousand, but it is not insured. lol.

Looking forward to being a 1 for a while... but wondering if at some point I go for a 2 and it doesn't stick... does that make me closer to a 4??? :)

Here is something great and unique about a Wrangler: it thumbs its nose at classifying its drivers. When you sit at a stoplight and look at the Jeep next to you, you'll see all ethnicities, genders, income levels, and ages. Name another vehicle with such owner diversity.

At the moment I'd have to put myself as somewhere between 1 and 2. I have my rig slightly built up for off-roading (35s, upgraded skid plates, high clearance exhaust) but, no trails nearby and it's been difficult to find time to schedule a trip to hit some trails. So, my Rubicon is mostly a daily driver at the moment.

I am in category #1. You will find me on the beach during fishing season as well as some backroads to fishing spots. I used to be more adventurous in my younger years but now my off-roading is subdued but I enjoy driving on the sand a lot and it is even better if I catch a fish. We have always enjoyed driving and driving the JL is a lot of fun. This is our first Wrangler and we were totally surprised on how much we have enjoyed it. It is luxurious compared to my first 4x4 a Toyota FJ40 which is primitive by JL standards.

I figure I’m about a 2 maybe 2.2 at best lol just my personal feeling on it is these things are way to over priced to bash them to hammered shit I work like a dog and have literally crippled myself to earn a living to just destroy an overpriced vehicle, if I were to go down the hardcore path it would be with a purpose built tube chassis truggy

Looks like I’m a 3… but have mad respect for 1, 2, & 4, as the diversity is one of my favorite things about the Jeep…..Also I enjoy working on them as much as driving them, I know, crazy, right?, but it’s kinda therapeutic…Oh, one more thing, the brim on my ball cap is curled…...:)

As nature intended bro! This whole flat-billed trucker nonsense is weird, add in mullets somehow making a comeback and it’s super weird.
