Soon you won’t be able to. They are already pushing up to $100,000. The people that normally were wanting to and buying them already can’t afford them.
The upper limits of the 392 Rubicon is close to six figures... but the other 99% aren't close to it.

What did you do, max out a 4Xe?
A Rubicon Unlimited with supposed to be the extreme Recon package. Whereas Jeep ripped me off and gave me the fake extreme recon package. They put 35 inch tires on a stock Rubicon and then made the bump stops 1 inch away from the front axle to restrict upward movement so the tires wouldn’t hit the fenders. Maybe now you can understand my frustration with Jeep. Yes the Jeep is pretty well loaded.

I'm curious to see pictures of said stock Rubi on 35s...

Agreed, 70 for a loaded Rubicon is a far cry from 100. And I seriously doubt you should be buying a loaded Rubicon or 392 if you’re scrutinizing the price tag ($50 engine cover) and don’t have an understanding of what you’re buying — clearly not looking at the product before signing. As long as the Bronco doesn’t start at 85k, the Jeep will never be a routine 100k vehicle.

It’s quite obvious Stellantis/Jeep does not care what customers think or feel. Buyers keep coming regardless of price increases and despite a large number of unresolved defects (paint, electrical, lockers, etc). Jeep is constantly rated poorly for reliability and quality. It just doesn’t matter to them. Perhaps they will soon face serious consequences for such neglect as their profitability relies on an overpriced yet increasingly stale product line.

To the OP: you are not unique; they treat all their customers poorly; don’t waste another moment thinking about it.
Is there a car company that ‘does’ care what a consumer thinks? People are overestimating their experience and power. Consumers will keep buying, a person might not. I walked away from BMW because of their issues in 5 of their rides I owned — yeah I don’t think that impacted their bottom line. Pretty certain they didn’t call an immediate meeting “Oh snap, LOWMPG doesn’t like his 6 series, says the electronics are crap. He said he will not buy one again. Get the engineering and marketing team in here, we need to get him back” — yeah that didn’t happen.

Sure the price of your Jeep may have increased by $6,000. But that doesn't mean that an engine cover was included in that.
Do you really believe that the price of @John Benoit's Jeep increased by $6k after he ordered it? And that he's whining about getting it before that price increase? Not that there's a possibility of exaggeration, but I'm thinking that there's a possibility of exaggeration.

He could, of course, post his rig's sequence number so we can see exactly what was built.

Are we seriously arguing that the Wrangler isn't grossly overpriced because it's not $100k? Like $70k is a great deal?

And a JL is no TJ...there's no comparison. JLs are EVERYWHERE, and the vast majority of the ones you see today will be junked by the time they're 6-8 years old. The fact that old Jeeps are still out there does not in any way prove that a JL will last. It won't. You'll spend more than the MSRP of a JL to keep it on the road for 10+ years - so smart people will simply trade up. Hell those TJ's still out there have had big money sunk into them to keep them running too.

SMH. This thread is so full of fanboy nonsense it might as well just be closed at this point. It is absolutely astounding that JL fans can still convince themselves that the JL is a high quality vehicle worthy of its high price despite the mountain range of evidence to the contrary.

Maybe I’m trying to rally the troops to say we are not going to take this bullshit. 1 person can’t do it alone, but give them a large group and the message will be heard.

You said " Wait about 10 or so years if it lasts that long. " And, within 20 miles of Loveland Ohio, there are 22 very nice older TJ's for sale not to mention how many are on the road and not for sale. If you don't want to be proven wrong, don't say things that are blatantly wrong. The point is, there are still tens of thousands of jeeps that are way more than 10 years old that are still chugging along. You don't see "many" of any car that is over 20 years old on the road so that kind of makes your insistence that it is a jeep thing more of a whine than an actual fact. "Blowing out of proportion" is making such a huge deal out of a basically non functional plastic engine cover not being on your jeep.
First World Problems I guess
The 3A is ~74 years old and is in good shape, The dash and various other plastic is cracking and disintegrating on my ~29 year old Dodge PU. So a piece of plastic that would turn to crap in time is missing- good, take more cheap plastic crap off.

I am about tired of you thinking you run this whole forum and want to sabotage other peoples posts. I don’t feel you have the right to put a banner on someone else’s name plaque to tell everyone else to attack them I think you should kicked off of the JL forum.
