I would not have considered a Jeep had it not been for the diesel. 3 months and 5000 miles later and I'm not disappointed. Great engine/transmission combo. A joy to drive. And the power top is well worth to me.
I feel the same. 10k miles — great power and 26 mpg on flat highway going 65-70 this past week and easily pulls 95 mph through four corners. Got 16-17 mpg going 95 through that area too, on 37’s with a roof top tent on the bed of the Gladiator.

One thing I’ll say is the DEF usage if you’re under load a lot through mountains is significant — about 2.5 gallons per 800 miles. Funny because my first 5 gallons lasted 5000 miles.

Austin.

Bought my Willys from South Point, but let me tell you, those jokers are basically criminal.
Was just curious. I was trying to get Bohnam CDJR to work with forum but best they said can do is invoice.

Quick math shows 5% under invoice which is pretty on par with most places. Gupton will do 6 if you take their financing + the tread lightly discount. You're talking in the hundreds of dollars differences though, not thousands.

$56,585 plus TTL and $422 documentation fee is what they (Chapman Jeep in PA) state in our email correspondence is the offer.
As Jon said that's a good price but I wouldn't order from them unless I got it in writing that they would price protect the order. Otherwise you might be in for a nasty surprise when you go to pick up your Wrangler.

This is exactly my fear, that and they gimp a trade offer when I go to pick it up since they seem to be hesitant at giving me a trade in value at this moment. That last part alone seems suspect.

You might try Mall of Georgia.

Doc fee: $600

I believe that they'll be close to Chapman in price and they do price protect. Don't know how well they do on trade ins though.

I was also debating the engine issue but went with Diesel.....powertrain warranty was 5 year 100000 we shall see how it works out as of today i have 2254 miles on my Rubicon.
Word, I don’t think it’s a bad engine necessarily I just wanted to make sure OP was making an informed decision. I’m getting 12.5mpg with the E-torque, clearly it’s got its downsides as well 🤣

That torque sounds appealing for sure, have you had it off road?

Can't believe Jeep is now charging $395 for any paint but white.
Yes this is unacceptable for *any* manufacturer to do that, unless its some gold fleck infused color, or HellaYella.

On the flip side, the person who thought of it is genius.

They were pretty fair with my trade. Only listed it for $4000 more than they gave me for it.

Pretty much everyone charges a premium for all but one or two colors. $395 is dirt cheap compared to a lot of brands.
