Hey all

Working on jeeps is still new to me, at least suspension parts. I read synergy's instructions. And found one video for the exact center.

I just want to make sure I have this right in my head.

I can install the one end in the track bar location, mark center for the synergy 6 bolt clamp, and center of the exact center eyelet on the tie rod and install that side. This would be my starting point.

Then the exact center will need adjusting. Which I haven't looked up yet. And of course check clearance lock to lock.

But I have the install correct? Track bar to tie rod?

Thanks

This is my setup, RPM tie rod with bracket connecting to steering stabilizer relo at track bar side for Exact Center, and Fox in standard position. The Exact Center took awhile to dial in, I found trying to adjust it by shifting the tie rod bracket didn't work and I had to loosen the jam nuts and rotate it a little at a time. Also had to get a bushing at Ace for gap between Exact Center end and bolt that connected it to bracket.

From their site it looks to be the same mounting bracket kit for both OEM up to 32" and 33-37" tires. It sure looks like it mounts above the tie rod in figure 5 of the instructions:

I’ve noticed several pictures of exact center installs where the boot is not present. Is this because it’s getting torn up or is there another reason?

The exact center comes with instructions that state " some vehicle installs will require a bracket/hardware and it may or may not be included"

Mine did not come with the install bracket, so I got the synergy install kit/bracket. It really doesn't matter which one you use. All that matters is that you may or may not get one from road master.

Why no boot? Not 100% sure on this, but the first ones may not have had boots. Or it could be that some vehicles according to road master need them, like jeeps, and maybe vehicles like RVs don't.
